Seems to me that — given what we know about what Schitt’s been up to with this whole impeachment fiasco — his phone records would be the first place to start.

It is my opinion, that its time for Republicans to go on the Offensive. A coordinated program to remove (by election) Nancy Pelosi, Adam Schiff, and Jerry Nadler from office.

They are the figureheads of the Democrat party, that are proceeding AGAINST the will of the people, to attempt to remove our ELECTED President Donald J. Trump, while in the process, demeaning Melania, his wife, and Barron, his son, publicly, and privately.

Their own families could not bear such scrutiny. But its more important than that. In a very visceral way, we need to take the pressure off the President, and publicly show our support.

It is inconsequential that his impeachment is a sham, and will fail in the Senate. What is of consequence is the amount of time and money (the peoples treasure) that have been spent in this process, when so much good could have been achieved. There is no consequence to these people (that they can see), so we have to show them that they are accountable to the people, and remove them from their roles as representatives, as they obviously are not.

What do you think?

He said he has no desire.

Not that he wouldn’t.

He might be playing the “aggrieved”card out of the dem playbook. Lol

They don’t. But I think the senate CAN call other witnesses if they want to hear from him. Trump lawyers need to do all that.

Now, if some investigative body outside of Senate oversight wants to do it, that’s up to them.

Sounds like somebody in Congress needs to send a letter asking AG Barr to conduct another investigation. I doubt he is going to initiate one on his own accord as it would be called "nothing more than political retaliation" against Schitt for Brains for investigating/impeachment proceedings POTUS.

Nunes has a pretty good reason to send such a letter, as do the others whose records were subpoenaed, but he would carry the most clout.
Above all AG Barr needs to appear nonpartisan as he's already being touted as a puppet for POTUS.

So if Trump’s lawyers want Schiff to testify what prevents them?

Duh, can you guys READ? Graham said HE wouldn't ask for Schiff's phone records, because it's WRONG to do that, but added: Now, if some investigative body outside of Senate oversight wants to do it, that’s up to them.

Graham KNOWS Trump's lawyers aren't going to let Schiff for brains get away with setting the President up with a fake Whistleblower. Just like he KNOWS that Trump's lawyers will try to get Schiff's phone records to prove his collusion.

Smart politics. Schiff's records WILL be requested, and Schiff is ALREADY being promoted as a low-life, scum sucking POS, for spying on fellow members of Congress.

A subpoena issued by Graham.

I am going out on a limb. I don’t think retaliation is the correct course. I believe the absolute best strategy is to reveal Democrats duplicity while allowing a fair hearing. There is no evidence. The President of the Ukraine has stated twice there was no quid pro quo and no pressure. If the Republicans go scorched earth people will conclude Republicans are the right wing of the same bird. Fry Schiff in his own grease.

Doesn’t he have a challanger ????

One as far as I know, Democrat Jaime Harrison, at least for now.

But even if he gets challengers it wouldn't make any difference. Let me explain.

We have lots of good, strong Conservatives in South Carolina that would be light years better than linda in the Senate.

South Carolina having open primaries is the problem. During the primaries, several people, some much better than linda, will run opposing linda. But on primary voting day the RATS cross over in droves and vote for linda. linda wins the primary and, since SC is a strong red state, goes on the win the election.

The SC legislature is beginning to grow some balls and is making noise about going to closed primaries.

Can't happen soon enough for me and lots of other Republican voters. But until the law is changed, linda has a job for life and she knows it.

NONSENSE.

Graham has vehemently defended Trump against the witch hunt repeatedly in the Senate and on public television. For which he has been praised on this forum.

I’m not sure what is up or whether it matters but as this proceeds I will be paying attention to all of the R’s in congress and where they stand.

He was in Ukraine with McCain, the russian stooge pres Poroshenko ,who fired Shokin (Giuliani has given this to Barr, and to Durham), Amy Klobuchar, and Ambassador Voyonovych (now teaching at full GS whatever pay... at Georgetown).

But— before that he was there with McCain arming ISI(L) with obamaumao and muslim horde- armed from a Qatar arms dealer friend of Adm. McRaven (who still lives there, just imagine why that would be!). And hitlery too as a partner in yet another proxy war. And look at the gift Iraq is giving, such that Kerry can endorse Biden (the former gang of 8 members all coming together). They think we forget.

The Stain from McCain may be spread all across Lindsey’s “plain”— perhaps, or he is a FACT witness against it all and hence, in a bind. Maybe the principled Flake and Coons can tell us what they were hunkering with trying to railroad Kavanaugh with an old party whore’s rape claims.
