In a rush to judgement, flanked by US Flags and dressed in Red, White, and Blue, Nancy Pelosi ordered the Chairman of the Judiciary Committee to draft Articles of Impeachment against President Trump, after only one hearing of non-fact witnesses, claiming the facts were not in contest.

...as the Democrat Senators will not be able to campaign during the Senate’s impeachment trial.

Sure they can. Neither Sanders nor Warren is on the Senate Judiciary Committee, which likely will have the key role in actually conducting the Democrat side of the trial. They'll just say that they can do more good for impeachment by being out on the campaign trail, talking about impeachment, and trying to inform the American people why it is necessary, rather than just sitting for hours listening to Republicans (as they'll say) defend the indefensible.

Warren and Sanders will say they'll be reviewing any transcripts, watching recorded testimony remotely, and obviously returning for any votes.

I'd expect them maybe to show up for the first and last days, but otherwise continue campaigning.

Don’t hold your breath on that one. The GOP Senate has 3 years to support POTUS against the coup. Have they? Nope. Instead they enabled the coup and impeachment by among other things threatening Trump not to fire Sessions and blocking the obviously outstanding Ratcliffe from the DNI post. Sadly, you can expect more of the same during the months long impeachment trial/circus from the Trump hating GOP Senators.

When it’s all done, Trump is still in office, AND he wins re-election...

The funny part of this is that after Trump is exonerated in the Senate trial, the Dems will have nothing left in their bag to play with. Impeachment is the maximum conviction they can get with a sitting president. Trump will have four more years (five, if the trial goes quickly) and the left will have nothing more except to sit in a dark room and suck their thumbs -- crying uncontrollably.

This could be the disaster we have been waiting for. The Dems will turn on each other (as they already have begun to do) and tear the party into factions -- each more radical than the next.
