Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy posted a letter signed by the House Intelligence Oversight Committee to Pencil Neck Adam Schiff.
In his letter Rep. McCarthy cites House Rule XI, Cause 2(j)(1) The Minority Rule on calling witnesses. This rule allows the Minority to call any witnesses they want on at least one day of a congressional hearing, upon notifying the Committee chairman, which the Republicans did this morning.

They should call someone we haven’t heard from yet — like that Eric Ciaramella guy.
I can imagine Schiff’s response: “You can’t call him. He’s the whistleblower whose name I do not know.”
You can bet the farm there will not be any press coverage if they do.
Isn’t this an “inquiry” and not a “hearing”?
For us common-sense mortals, that would be a distinction without a difference. But for Congressional committees debating how many angels can dance on the head of a pin, there’s probably a big difference between them.
They’re going to call Schiff to testify under oath.
Adam Schiff is an immature little baby. He will grandstand this and make a statement on Television on how unrighteous the Republicans are being. But Schifff cannot be trusted
dems can still turn down request for subpoenas
I expletive hope so!!!!
they’ll just change the Rule
Watching how desperate the Democrat are to take any focus off their actions in the Ukraine, I am wondering just how much US Taxpayer loot has been siphoned off by the Democrat Fascist party machine over the years.
Remember we spent billions in the Ukraine after the collapse of the Soviet Union buying up their weapons and transitioning them to Democracy during Clinton regime. Currently they get about $193,000,000 annually in :”US Aid”
Just how much US Taxpayer loot have the Democrat laundered through the Ukraine for the last 30 years?
You don’t need to call him. You need to call the two staffers who used to work WITH him at the CIA. These are the two that were in contact with him prior to the whistle blower report being filed.
They can testify to the extent that they coached him (whistle blower) without naming him. They can be asked if the whistle blower ever had a face-to-face with Schiff; if Schiff recommended the attorney for the whistle blower, or if Schiff or his office assisted in the drafting of the whistle blower complaint.
An added benefit to this is they can also ask if the whistle blower revealed his source of information (Vindeman). This would make Vindeman the leaker and subject to the espionage act.
Excellent play by Nunes and McCarthy
Or claim immunity.
Not if you're Ed Buck!
If they refuse subpoenas just keep after them and wast time like the Dims did, now that they want to fast track everything for their own aims. !!!! Am soooo glad to see some Republicans finally fighting back, but they ALL need to!! How else are the dimmer Dims going to catch on and wake up from their brainwashed haze and develop the courage to vote NO to impeach?
One other interesting fact. “ About $10 million in “Donations” from the Ukraine went to the Clinton Foundation
On second thought, subpoena-ing Schiff is a waste of time. Hell just answer that he doesnt know, or cant say, or the 5th etcetcetc. But then, if he could be caught in one of his MANY LIES, under oath.......AH, well then....!!!!!
