Isn’t this an “inquiry” and not a “hearing”?
For us common-sense mortals, that would be a distinction without a difference. But for Congressional committees debating how many angels can dance on the head of a pin, there’s probably a big difference between them.

Note: According to the letter, the rule says “congressional hearing” (type not specified). But I suppose sicky-shifthead will figure out a way to nix it. Can you imagine being married to that thing? YUK🤮
