The usual insipid reporting by local news looking to fill air time with a dramatic focus. Reporter asks a student to describe the gunfire. “Did it sound like firecrackers or more like a gunshot?” Duh.

Sounds like a “false flag moment”...As soon as I heard about the shooting I turned on FOX NEWS I don’t watch it too far left for me most of time...but they had a Ted Williams guy giving his take, so just curiosity got the better an I flipped momentarily to CNN...Some Democrat female said “this is why we have no choice but to flip the senate” Bingo! Well CNN is gone for the duration. LOL!

School shooting deaths in 2018: 28 students, 7 adults. In 2017: 15 people (site didn’t break down children vs. adults).
Auto deaths (including drivers, passengers, bicyclists, motorcyclists, and pedestrians) in 2017: about 1,800 people between 13 and 18 years of age. (I subtracted 19-year-olds, and I’m not finding stats that include children aged 5 to 12.)
On average, more children die each from school shootings than die from lightning strikes. Fwiw.

KTLA reporter Lynette Romero hyperventilating and breaking down in tears after interviewing a mother on the scene whose student daughter is not answering her texts.
I appreciate the “first-person” reports but really, sometimes it’s way over the top. Understandable emotion, as Romero has a teenage daughter, but unprofessional. This is the kind of hyper-dramatic reporting that is becoming more common on television news. The reporters insert themselves into the story. Just my opinion.
