KTLA reporter Lynette Romero hyperventilating and breaking down in tears after interviewing a mother on the scene whose student daughter is not answering her texts.
I appreciate the “first-person” reports but really, sometimes it’s way over the top. Understandable emotion, as Romero has a teenage daughter, but unprofessional. This is the kind of hyper-dramatic reporting that is becoming more common on television news. The reporters insert themselves into the story. Just my opinion.
