If you've been paying attention for the past 12 years or so, you may have noticed that Barack Obama tends to contradict himself. He'll say one thing at one point, and then at another point he'll say the complete opposite. And both times he really means it! I don't know how much of it is intentional and how much is just his own lack of self-awareness, but I call it Past Obama vs. Present Obama.
Here's Present Obama just yesterday, good-naturedly but firmly scolding Past Obama about wokeness and callout culture:

This is what he does publicly. When he returns to the DC anti-Trump bunker, is his message like that of yasser arafat’s to the arab world in Arabic? Arafat was notorious for his anodyne public message regarding relations with Israel and Jews, then returning to the Middle East and spouting the opposite in his native language before mobs of Arabs.
