Washington (CNN)Former US Sen. Kay Hagan of North Carolina died Monday, her family said in a statement. She was 66.
"We are heartbroken to share that Kay left us unexpectedly this morning," the Hagan family said. "Kay meant everything to us, and we were honored to share her with the people of North Carolina whom she cared for and fought for so passionately as an elected official."

It is tough to watch your body slowly dying. It’s also very, very painful. I wouldn’t wish this on anyone.

At nearly 77 be glad !!! Heck people drop every day for lots of reaons besides cancer and at all ages.

I think Mickey Mantle actually said this back in the 60s or 70s. His father, Mutt, died very young and Mick truly expected to do likewise. I think it was reported in Jim Bouton Ball Four.
Powassan virus is a flavivirus transmitted by ticks, found in North America and in the Russian Far East. It is named after the town of Powassan, Ontario, where it was identified in a young boy who eventually died from it. It can cause encephalitis, an infection of the brain. No vaccine or antiviral drug exists. Prevention of tick bites is the best precaution.

Well I must say that would be wonderful to watch but I get so sick of her smugness and pompous “do you know who I am” attitude. She’s detestable!
