This is good. Some preemptive planning on the part of Senate Repubs.
It is a start. However, I do not Trust Graham.
Talk, talk, talk.
Yesterday, key members of Congress took action on the part of the American People.
Graham said it was a crazy idea.
Did ALL the republicans in the senate co-sponsor this?
Useless, do something that will actually matter
Glad they’re doing this. Here’s the problem with the vote....even if they vote, the whole house doesn’t know all the facts of the “secret” inquisition. How can they vote?
What will Linda say when it is proven that the whole thing was a setup from day one and Pencil Neck and His Staff orchestrated the entire thing???
Seditious Conspiracy to Overthrow the United States Government.
If there is one thing senators are good at it’s useless gestures.
Its way past time the GOP got off their asses and defended our President against the rabid progressive parasites.
It is a resolution that 41 repubs have signed off on. It takes 67 senators to remove a president. 41 are saying we won’t even listen unless you change the house process.
YOU ALL ARE SO DAMN XLOW!!! THE DEMS WOULD HAVE DONE THIs days ago!
Graham didn't really say anything too awfully different than what a lot of people have been discussing, but he DID make it a point that he had made recommendations to President Trump and that the President chose his own way.
Based on that, Linda is distancing himself from a shit storm, in my opinion.
Yet this asshat Senator Graham does not use the power of Senate Judiciary Committee to subpoena testimony. Senator Graham is either weak or he is Deep State.
Has Pierre Delecto commented on this resolution?
How about, as Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, calling some of these snakes to answer for their perceived crimes? You know, real stuff, not fluff.
Or, how 'bout this threat?

Ping!
Want on or off Linda's fav ping list? Just FReepmail me.
Remember that linda is up for reelection in 2020.
Remember also that linda is writing a Red Flag bill.
I read this as lindsy and other senators keeping their options open. They want the appearance of supporting a fair process, but would take any results they produce by any means.
FWIW, good defense attorney is not going to start arguing their defense until the prosecution has presented their complaint. There are a lot of reasons for this but chief among the reasons is that the defense does not want the prosecution aware of their own weaknesses. For example, what if the prosecutors in the OJ Simpson case were made aware that the defense was going to prove the glove did not fit?
Patience and let the process play out.
Impeachment is Built on a Trap That Obama Created for Romney

I don’t think he went far enough. I don’t see that he added a final paragraph in the “be it resolved” section that failure to do these things would result in any penalty.
Since House and Senate are co-equal, he doesn’t have authority over them, but he does have authority to say what will and won’t be done on the issue in the Senate if House don’t do things fairly. On TV last night he did say the Senate wouldn’t act on anything, but that wasn’t included in his Resolution. (Did I miss it, or was he blowing sunshine up my skirt yesterday?)
