The President said in his speech Thursday, October 17, during the Philippine Business Conference and Expo at the Manila Hotel, he assigned Espenido to Bacolod because the city was "badly hit now."
He described Espenido as "yung tinatakutan nila na pulis." (The cop they fear the most.)
"Sabi ko, Go there and you are free to kill everybody." T*** i**** 'yan. Go, start killing them. Ako nang dalawa na tayong pa-preso," Duterte referring to his instructions to Espenido.
(I said: Go there and you are free to kill everybody. *expletives*. Go, start killing them. I will join you the two of us if you are sent to prison.)
Espenido, newly-promoted on Wednesday, October 16, was assigned here as the deputy city director for operations.

Criminals should not be placed in jail. They should be placed in coffins.
It looks like Mexico needs their own Duterte to go after the Cartel’s. It’s the only strategy that will work to defeat them.
Hell, he’s welcome to come to Baltimore after an escape-proof barrier is erected along the boundary between Baltimore city and county.
My sister in law is Filipina. She says Duterte was in charge of killing the drug dealers in his city when he was mayor, right before he became president.
He must be a Democrat
I’m sure my Filipina wife will support this. She didn’t like Duterte before the 2016 election, but has been a strong supporter of him since then.
Last December we visited the in-laws in the Philippines. In the small Ozamiz City airport, they keep everyone in one room as they wait for their flights. In the front of the room, we saw a life-sized cardboard cutout of the president; I’m sure that was to make sure we all behaved!
Agreed, especially after that incident where the drug gang drove off the Mexican National Guard.
It seems they’re going after the drug lords and corrupt officials. I was there in 2007 and read of a police chief and his officers operating as bandits going after farmers after market day. The man who I had drive me around became hooked on shabu shabu ended up destroying his life and his family too.
My in-laws family is very influential. Cant name the family but you may have heard of it. One of the “guys” who picked us up at the airport (most of the time) is always armed, and later on, we found out he used to work near Subic , as a cop, and they just targeted gangs. Target..you know what Im talking about.
Unlike here, they dont have an ACLU there who sides with criminals..
Crime is down and Duterte is starting to fire crooked cops etc. Politicians are next.
Backstory is that the CIA candidates lost when Duterte entered the race. I say CIA but its also the internationalist elites who run NGOs and the Catholic intellectuals here...
And the source, Rappler, is funded by non Philippine groups believed to be CIA fronts...the same groups who funded the protests etc that took out a pro Russian president in the Ukraine and put in the corrupt guy involved with bribing Biden etc (not the one just elected).
That sounds vaguely *cough* Trump familiar...
She and her little brother did witness a dealer on dealer execution a couple weeks ago in a neighboring Barangay.
She was able to pick the shooters companion out of the police photo lineup.
Just curious dude, did you see Trump when he went to the Flip?
I haven’t been in PI since 2007. So no I didn’t. Thinking of going over in Dec.
IOW- fight fire with fire. Thats the condensed version.
In the 80s, Davao City was one of the most dangerous cities in the Philippines. Along came Duterte and others, and decided, that this was going to stop. They took extraordinary measures. Whether people agree with their methods or not, they got results. Now, Davao City is one of the safest cities in the Philippines.
Except the Communist Chinese fentanyl and Shabu (Meth) suppliers, dealers and drug pushers, of course. And ALL the drugs there come from the ChiComs.
Duterte has pretty much ordered the PNP to do a catch-and-release of Communist Chinese.
There is more to the story. In 2017, I remember there was an issue between the Negros Oriental Province (where Bacolod is) and Duterte about losing a separate Negros Island region and being forced to return to Region VI. Its like West Virginia being ordered back into Virginia
