Pat Robertson ‘Appalled’ By Trump:(trunc)... May Lose ‘The Mandate of Heaven’ Over Syria

Televangelist Pat Robertson has joined the chorus of conservative critics lambasting President Donald Trump’s decision to pull U.S. forces out of Northern Syria — endangering America’s Kurdish allies.

Trump was slammed by many of his usual defenders on Monday after the White House announced the U.S. will allow for a Turkish military operation in the war-torn region. Trump argued in a statement that Turkey will assume responsibility for all ISIS fighters captured in the region, many of whom were detained by Kurdish forces allied with America. The Turkish government views these Kurdish militias as terrorists — despite the U.S. supporting them in the fight against ISIS.

Trump shot back at his critics on Twitter by defending his position while promising that “if Turkey does anything that I, in my great and unmatched wisdom, consider to be off limits, I will totally destroy and obliterate the Economy of Turkey.”

Robertson said he was “absolutely appalled” by the announcement, warning that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan is a “thug” and a “dictator.”

Very long article, which I didn’t bother to read...

It's in the BOOK. That's the way it will be...

EXCERPT from the 7 paragraph article...

Bible prophecy indicates that in the End Times, as we get closer to the Second Coming of Jesus Christ, God will allow the Medes to gain power, even as the Lord allows the Arabs to gain power and rebuild the kingdom of Babylon in the heart of Iraq.

The Book of Revelation, for example, tells us that Babylon will be the epicenter of evil in the last days of history, and will eventually face the judgment of God. The Hebrew prophets Isaiah, Jeremiah and Daniel tell us this, as well, indicating Babylon will be completely destroyed and when the judgment is complete, Babylon will be completely uninhabitable. Indeed, Isaiah 13:20 says of Babylon, “It will never be inhabited or lived in from generation to generation; nor will the Arab pitch his tent there, nor will shepherds make their flocks lie down there.”

What’s more, Bible prophecy indicates that God will raise up the Medes — that is, the Kurdish people — to be an instrument of judgment against Babylon.

Isaiah 13:17 — “Behold, I am going to stir up the Medes against them [the Babylonians]….”
Jeremiah 51:11 — “The Lord has aroused the spirit of the kings of the Medes, because His purpose is against Babylon to destroy it; for it is the vengeance of the Lord….”
Jeremiah 51:28-29 — “Consecrate the nations against her, the kings of the Medes, their governors and all their prefects, and every land of their dominion. So the land quakes and writhes, for the purposes of the Lord against Babylon stand, to make the land of Babylon a desolation without inhabitants….”

I thought Christ advocated Peace, but senescent Bible-thumper Pat Robertson must have forgotten. How about he thumps out a list of his own grandchildren he wants to fight and die in Syria’s endless civil war?

You might also lose the mandate of heaven if you FORCE millions of women to KILL THEIR BABIES. Oh wait no you don't.

"Asked by Blitzer to give his thoughts on the forced abortion policy, Robertson replied, "Well, you know I don't agree with it. But at the same time, they've got 1.2 billion people, and they don't know what to do. If every family over there was allowed to have three or four children, the population would be completely unsustainable."

He's "personally opposed" to forced abortions.

This is why I don’t watch the 700 Club.

The 5 minutes of news was maybe worth it (just that) but they always are directed to get a comment from PR.

PR does not understand Revelation 13 and the Mark of the Beast. Which is rather shocking, frankly.

He should find out the facts first.

Some articles were pointing out that we are withdrawing less than two dozen troops.

Then call on congress to reconvene and declare war. They could have it done by tonight if they were serious about it.

How did Turkey come into play at this juncture? The last discussion I remember having to do with Syria was that Syria was a client state of Russia and/or in cahoots with Iran (Syria hosts Iran’s proxy Hezbollah).

Nobody knows the day or the hour. Toomany people are looking at the news reading things into todays news. When Sadaam Hussein was in power there were books being written about how Iraq represented Babylon in the Book of Revelation but it didn’t turn out that way. We don’t know the time schedule so it is difficult to interpret the day by day news.
