A woman managed to board a Delta flight from Orlando to Atlanta with no ID or boarding pass, says a passenger who helped uncover the alleged security breach after the woman in question took her seat. Delta and the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) were investigating how it happened, Fox 35 reported. According to the passenger who didn't want to be identified, the woman refused to get up from the seat. "I also had a boarding pass for that seat, and she said very bluntly, 'I'm not moving.'"
The passenger told WFTV she asked for a flight attendant who came over and noted the woman wasn't listed on the flight's manifest. The pilot and a supervisor then reportedly tried to remove the woman to no avail. When they asked for her boarding pass, the woman said she threw it away and when they asked for her ID, she showed them a photo of herself on her phone, WFTV reported.
The passenger recalled a conversation between the woman and the flight attendant. Well, I'm showing you a picture ID," the woman said. "Ma'am, that's not a government-issued ID. That's a photo," the flight attendant said. "Well, this is just as good," the woman said. "No, ma'am, it's not just as good," the flight attendant said.

Does not surprise me. United employees let me on the wrong flight in London long after 9/11. They had flights to Chicago and DC leaving around the same departure time and I used the wrong gate. It was only discovered when the legitimate seat holder told me I was in his seat.
Must be a congressional representative from Houston.
Just a guess
lol. Maybe. All the woman had to do was say, “Excuse me, I’m sorry!” and get up and look for another seat. She could have kept doing that and eventually found an empty seat and been home totally free. I still wonder about that ethnicity....
I had lost my license and had to depart LAX for work a few years ago (2010?). They refused to accept a photo ID issued by a CA State school, but did accept my CostCo membership card.
Lots of people curse, so that is not an indicator. But I’m sure, well not really, when she is brought up on Federal charges she will be exposed.
Membership has it’s benefits.
Why we are the TSA. We are too busy searching for bombs and guns to be concerned with a few people slipping through that could be terrorists....or my niece Shadondra!
We are the TSA, we could give a crap about your safety. We get paid either way...and, we just like feeling you up!
One time I was traveling with my two year old daughter. She was flying for free. There was a intelligent looking middle aged woman in the window seat.
There were three seats in a row. I sat down in the aisle seat hoping the plane wasn’t full. I sat down and was holding Lesley. The woman told me to put her in the seat.
The stewardess came by several times and gave me the eye. I told the lady that I would hold her but she again told me to leave her. Finally the stewardess asked me if she had a ticket. I told her no and again started to hold her but the lady again insisted that I leave her. She told me all this with a very sweet manner.
I am basically sure that she worked for the airline and knew rules that I didn’t.
There were multiple levels of failure here... TSA asks for boarding pass before screening, and the airline staff also ask for boarding pass and ID before you’re allowed to the aircraft, where usually you are again asked to show the boarding pass.
Someone allowed her to get where she needed to be to board that plane. She did not give anyone the slip. We need to know her ethhnicity. Most TSA workers are African-American.
I flew Delta mast week out of MSP. I was PARTICULARLY impressed with the two marketing posters on the jetway showing two homos canoodling and snuggling on their way to some romantic destination. That really makes me want to fly Delta again.
LOL! Yeah, thats the ticket! I identify as a golden lab and am...this ladys emotional support animal! (Gimme a pet!) Arf! Arf!
Omigosh! Thats a miniature horse! On my phone, I thought that was a golden lab!
Possibly got on via the food/beverage service trucks or cleaning crew. There are ways to slip through doors at airports....just saying.
I don’t see any pictures but I’d bet she is black and that TSA and Delta were so afraid of being called racists that they let her pass.
my guess: Moslim in full garb.
I didn’t just make it up.

You got it. That was my suspicion as well - NBC just covered this without mentioning the “pigment privilege,” of course.
She appeared to be an older, overweight black person.
