Does not surprise me. United employees let me on the wrong flight in London long after 9/11. They had flights to Chicago and DC leaving around the same departure time and I used the wrong gate. It was only discovered when the legitimate seat holder told me I was in his seat.
Must be a congressional representative from Houston.
Just a guess
I had lost my license and had to depart LAX for work a few years ago (2010?). They refused to accept a photo ID issued by a CA State school, but did accept my CostCo membership card.
Lots of people curse, so that is not an indicator. But I’m sure, well not really, when she is brought up on Federal charges she will be exposed.
Why we are the TSA. We are too busy searching for bombs and guns to be concerned with a few people slipping through that could be terrorists....or my niece Shadondra!
We are the TSA, we could give a crap about your safety. We get paid either way...and, we just like feeling you up!
One time I was traveling with my two year old daughter. She was flying for free. There was a intelligent looking middle aged woman in the window seat.
There were three seats in a row. I sat down in the aisle seat hoping the plane wasn’t full. I sat down and was holding Lesley. The woman told me to put her in the seat.
The stewardess came by several times and gave me the eye. I told the lady that I would hold her but she again told me to leave her. Finally the stewardess asked me if she had a ticket. I told her no and again started to hold her but the lady again insisted that I leave her. She told me all this with a very sweet manner.
I am basically sure that she worked for the airline and knew rules that I didn’t.
There were multiple levels of failure here... TSA asks for boarding pass before screening, and the airline staff also ask for boarding pass and ID before you’re allowed to the aircraft, where usually you are again asked to show the boarding pass.
I flew Delta mast week out of MSP. I was PARTICULARLY impressed with the two marketing posters on the jetway showing two homos canoodling and snuggling on their way to some romantic destination. That really makes me want to fly Delta again.
I don’t see any pictures but I’d bet she is black and that TSA and Delta were so afraid of being called racists that they let her pass.
