After the second is gone, the first will last about a week.
What free speech? I see censorship everywhere. I see political correctness at war with free speech. George Orwell was a prophet.
Noxious language online is causing real-world violence. What can we do about it?
My generation took pretty seriously, “sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never harm me.” I’ve lived that mantra my entire life.
More like George Orwell wrote the playbook.
We have no free speech. “People use fear words like “n-word” etc..They mitigate and measure every thought and sentence against the leftist dystopia.
Everything coming out of the America-hating New York Times propaganda rag is noxious.
Deep Soy.
In an era where most speech takes place online, and Silicon Valley has become a self-appointed speech cop, the 1A is as good as dead from a practical standpoint.
amen brother... or sister or zhe.
Partisan Media Shills update.
The Internet business model is defective.
Content creators make little or nothing.
Apple, Verizon and Comcast rake money in.
Quality content providers must insist on ISP revenue sharing.
Apple could include paid-up NYT subscriptions with each new iPhone.
The term ‘alien invader’ is more accurate.
I got an idea. Shut down a the newspapers they’re misunderstands rags anyhow.
That is big part of it, but it goes well beyond that. Cities are now banning a huge number of normal words they have proclaimed are sexist or racist. Look at New York passing a law to make it a crime to say the term “illegal alien”.
Colleges and workplaces have punished conservatives for so long, so harshly for not speaking in PC terms, for using plain language, that we are now terrified to speak up that it affects a students grades, or affects a workers promotional viability, let alone work status. People have been fired for what they have said at work.
Now that many of the millennials and younger have bought into PC language hook line and sinker, you can’t speak freely without angering them or making them cry.
Free speech is dead. The first amendments is all but dead. The Commie Rats will be killing it off shortly. We are already there and it goes way beyond social media and the big tech companies Facebook, Google and Twitter.
We lost this battle by not fighting back in the 1990s when the Rats began to implement a plan to control our speech. Now it is too late.
Ah, I thought he was sounding an alarm. I didn’t think he advocated the things he wrote of.
Those fools think the government will save that one and the government will be the one that takes it and the courts will back it at some point down the road with leftist judges.
Close the New York Times and use the building as a secure reeducation facility for Journolists.
Any serious student of history KNOWS this, and yet they have the accelerator to the floor.
Quick, ban the spoken and written word!
