Mitt Romney — not for the first time — has reversed field when it comes to Donald Trump. This time, his change of heart is a good thing.
The former Massachusetts governor, now a first-term US senator from Utah, has emerged as the most prominent Congressional Republican to question Trump’s dealings with Ukraine, implicitly supporting an impeachment inquiry.
Being Mitt, his comments have been carefully calibrated: he is “deeply troubled” rather than outraged; he has called on other members of his party to “search their hearts and do what’s right” rather than supporting a particular course of action.
But even those steps stand in contrast to other Republicans, whose first instinct has been to circle the wagons around a president they clearly fear.

He never changed, he just shut his mouth. But he has not fooled those who are going after traitors. Notice how his connections with Hunter Biden got exposed 24 hours after he condemned Trump. They have everything on him and his day of reckoning is coming.
I think that has already been established.

The only time Mitt embraced Donald Trump was when Mitt had his hand out looking for political donations. We’ll probably never know the root cause of Mitt’s disdain for President Trump, but I bet it has to do with money and Mitt’s Mexican roots. Betcha not enough flowed from the billionaire to the then candidate to keep Mittens on the reservation once he lost the presidency. That plus vicious jealousy and a deeply nasty character equals what Mitt has done and continues to do to the President.
I was unaware Mitt was anything but a Never Trumper.
