I thought I would summarize several of the theories that are "out there" related to the Ukraine developments.
1) Trump welcomes impeachment. Yes and no. No president wants to be impeached. Regardless of how vile the Congress is, it is a stain that goes into the history books. Politically, however, there is some truth to this. As seen in the fundraising---which is off the charges ($15m since Botoxic's little "impeachment-vote-that-wasn't-an-impeachment-vote). Trump can solidify the base possibly into the 95-96% levels, unheard of except for George W. Bush right after 9/11. I don't think this is his first choice.
2) The Ukraine "whistleblower" was known much earlier and released at this time for a reason. Possibly. You have to keep in mind that this could be seen as "Phase 3" of a "Take Out Trump" op, or, to put it in baseball terms, this is the third pitcher brought in.
Phase 1 was the media, Access Hollywood. EpicFail Phase 2 was the "Muh Russia/Mulehead" investigation run by the FBI. EpicFail. Phase 3 brings in the latest relief pitcher, the CIA.
Honestly, folks, I think this is the end of their bullpen. If they can't get him at least impeached now, they have nothing. This is likely designed to last for a year and a half into the election.
3) This is an attempt by the DemoKKKrats to take out Biteme (along with Trump). Possibly. I don't think Warren is smart enough to do this, nor is Dinobernie. There is one person evil and cunning enough to try this. Today Cankles announced she was going on a new "listening tour."
Now, many of you say, "Why in the world would she run again?" Remember in her mind she WON 2016 and was cheated by the Russians. She "won" the popular vote. She thinks she can do it again. But beyond that, I might suggest that she HAS to run. I think she still owes very big and very bad people a lot of $ from the Clinton Crime Family Foundation, and she stayed alive largely based on her promise to get in again.
Where does all this leave us? First, Trump not only appears un-damaged by this, but if Rasmussen is to be believed, he has been at or above 49% for 8 days (most of them at 50% or over). As we saw, he's raising money like nothing we've ever seen.
The wild card in all this is Barr (BarrStool), who so far has made "decline to prosecute" the slogan of the FBI/DOJ. While Biteme and his son SHOULD be in jail, we have no evidence at all that BarrStool will push away from the bar to act. But this is getting dangerous, because it's clear that these people are not going to stop unless someone is smacked on the snout with an indictment.
Two weeks ago, especially looking at the retirements, I thought there was no way the GOP could re-take the House. But if this plays out as it might, the American public (all but the whackadoodle 30% DemoKKKrats) will be fed up with what appears to be "bullying" of President Trump. Americans are a fair people, and the DemoKKKrats are making Trump into a sympathetic figure. Retaking the House seems not quite as impossible as it did two weeks ago.
They are acting to counter indictments that Barr will be bringing soon?
1. >> No president wants to be impeached. Trump is unlike any President before him. I don’t think he give’s a rat’s patoot whether they vote to impeach. He’s not in this for the history books. He’s in this to Make America Great Again and Drain the Swamp. In fact, it may well be part of his plan. An impeachment vote exposes those who vote for impeachment. Most would likely be voted out of office in 2020. And as a side note, when the truth is known, Trump will go down in history as the President who saved the US (and, btw, the world) from the Cabal/Deep State.
2. Agree. Also, IMO this whistleblower is just another version of a leaker. Those anonymous leakers haven’t been playing well lately. Most of the sheep are awake to that gambit, so they needed something that sounded more legit.
3. This is an attempt by the DemoKKKrats to take out Biteme. Maybe. HRC? Because she did so well in 2016? Because she’s so much fresher and more vigorous now? Because she’s got all new socialist ideas now? Bwahahaha. The definition of insanity. I’ve also heard rumors about Michelle 0vomit running. Also bwahahahahaha! (1st tranny candidate?)
I completely agree about your assessment that HRC still owes a lot of people a lot of $$$. But for some reason, I don’t think doubling down on a bad hand is going to help her pay it off.
The Serpent, that Dragon of Old, knows he’s in no danger of losing her soul, and is in no particular hurry to harvest her, I expect her and RGB will linger on this earthly plain for a while longer...
Never heard of this guy but interesting take on Impeachment and Pelosis “Not so fast position.
LET THEM GO AHEAD AND IMPEACH TRUMP .
HERE’S WHAT HAPPENS THEN
By: Hyram F. Suddfluffel, PhD, (Political Science)
I have a degree in Political Science, and I am a card-carrying Libertarian.
I’ve been studying politics and political history for the past 30 years. My specialty is U.S. Presidents. That said, I hope that the House of Representatives impeaches Trump. Let me tell you what will happen next!
1. The House can pass articles of impeachment over the objections of the Republicans, and refer to the Senate for trial.
2. The Senate will conduct a trial. There will be a vote, and the Republicans will vote unanimously, along with a small number of Democrats, to not convict the President. Legally, it will all be over at that point.
3. However, during the trial, and this is what no one is thinking about right now, the President’s attorneys will have the right to subpoena and question ANYONE THEY WANT.. That is different than the special counsel investigation, which was very one-sided. So, during the impeachment trial, we will be hearing testimony from James Comey, Peter Strzok, Lisa Page, Bruce Ohr, Glenn Simpson, Donna Brazille, Eric Holder, Loretta Lynch, Christopher Steele, Hillary Clinton, John Brennan, James Clapper, and a whole host of other participants in this whole sordid affair and the ensuing coverup activities. A lot of dirt will be dug up; a lot of truth will be unveiled. Finger pointing will occur. Deals will start being made, and suddenly, a lot of democrats will start being charged and going to prison. All this, because, remember, the President’s team will now, for the first time, have the RIGHT to question all of these people under oath - and they will turn on each other. That is already starting.
4. Lastly, one more thing will happen, the Senate will not convict the President. Nothing will happen to Trump. Most Americans are clueless about political processes, the law, and the Constitution. Most Americans believe that being impeached results in removal from office. They don’t understand that phase 2 is a trial in and by the Senate, where he has zero chance of conviction. Remember, the Senate is controlled by Republicans; they will determine what testimony is allowed — and **everything** will be allowed, including: DNC collusion with the Clinton campaign to fix the election in favor of Hillary, the creation of the Trump dossier, the cover up and destruction of emails that very likely included incriminating information.
They will incriminate each other for lying to the FISA court, for spying and wiretapping the Trump campaign, and for colluding with foreign political actors, especially George Soros. After the Senate declines to convict the President, we will have an election, and Trump will win. It will be a backlash against the petulance, temper tantrums, hypocrisy and dishonesty. Even minorities will vote for Trump, because, for the first time, they will see that democrats have spent 2+ years focused on maintaining their own power, and not doing anything at all about black murders in Chicago, homelessness, opioids, and other important issues that are actually killing people. And, we will spend the following four years listening to politicians and pundits claim that the whole impeachment was rigged.
So let’s move on to impeachment.

Agreed—great discussion.
I am not convinced by any of the scenarios presented in the thread so far—so keep them coming folks!
The elected dems in the non-crazy areas might be forced to vote against impeachment if they want to remain at the trough.
I think this is an opportunity for the Dems to throw Biden under the bus. My reason is he is making big errors continuously and efforts to rehabilitate him are getting complicated. With this latest episode involving his son, it is a stain they cannot remove. It sinks his nomination and they need to get him off the stage before it rubs off on all of them. The impeachment thing is just a diversionary tactic to buy them time. I think they will throw Lie-a-watha in the ring and hope their Cultural Marxist tactics will carry her through. She will need some prep work to be ready for the big show against Trummp. I don’t think she has a chance even with their Cultural Marxist tactics.
The whistleblower’s story was in the NYT in May accoring to the mdia. That means the Dems sat on the story over summer vacations and chose to wait until September to launch this?
Or was it Trump to exposed the story and forced the Democrats, especially Pelosi, into committment before they were ready?
Yes, they will try to argue that no impeached President, or one under impeachment investigation, has ever appointed a SC justice. It would be unprecedented.
Hillary didn’t have the stamina for the last campaign, she sure won’t have it for the next.
Anyway, she can pay her debts if (almost) ANY Dem wins the presidency.
Hopefully, the corruption that Hunter Biden represents will be “the story” of this. Hard as the media tries to hide it.
There’s a lot of that going around and people won’t accept it.
I concur.

This “keep Trump from appointing a Buzzi replacement” has merit.
Here’s the problem: timing. Once impeachment is voted on, the clock is ticking. I can’t imagine it would go on long.
Clinton was impeached in October 1998, the acquittal was in February. So they could hold up a Buzzi replacement for four months-—but if they start next week (say), you’re looking at a January acquittal. What if Buzzi doesn’t croak til December?
You see my point. If this theory is correct, the DemoKKKrats have a serious problem of timing on their hands. Wait too long, she croaks and Trump nominates. Move too fast, she hangs on and doesn’t croak til after acquittal.
Thank you.
I had heard at least three different reasonable theories today and thought it good to get FR input on this.
Right now, the “tie up Trump so he can’t replace Buzzi if she croaks” is reasonable, but runs a real risk of bad timing on either side.
LOL, that should have been a Trump priority day one. As a poster above said, someone/anyone should have been smacked in the snout early on. I believe Trump was hoping by being the great president he is it would win over his detractors, and to a big extent it did. Just not the treasonous global deep state and the commie left. Maybe a miscalculation on his part or a strategic blunder, but either way I see new fire in the man. I just have no confidence in those around him namely Barr to do what this country sorely needs. A return to the “rule of law”.
Well so far Trump hasn’t been able to drain the White House of swamp creatures let alone the swamp. A very serious purge not just at the top of the intelligence services but deep into the ranks is needed. I don’t think Trump understands that. The snakes at the top have been responsible for recruiting and training since at least the 1990’s. The idea that some conservatives including Trump I fear have is that the head may be rotten but the folks below are salt of the earth. That idea is just plain wrong.
As always sir, your analysis is impeccable
Don’t we all
Well said
On a totally unrelated topic, do you remember what LSMFT means in "pre-netspeak"? (And, no, it's not an obscenity!)
Here it is...
(Just a short nostalgia break, for anyone who remembers those old ads!) :-)
