President Trump on Monday morning demanded to know the identity of the Deep State whistleblower (spy) who penned a complaint against him over his phone calls to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
Trump questioned the whistleblowers loyalty to the US and asked, Is he on our Countrys side. Where does he come from [?]
How can the whistleblower be legitimate? They have no first hand information. Government employees shouldn’t file complaints against the president based on rumors.
Did Obama get a DoJ investigation for making a covert deal to send $150 billion to the Mad Mullahs?
No. He got a political investigation. Fine. Thats whats supposed to happen.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
He didn’t even get that.
There were no hearings on where all those pallets of cash came from.
Good possibility.
Even more basic is the fact that we have a unitary executive.
No one paid by the taxpayers and holding the President's commission has a right to withhold information from him.
THAT'S basic.
“Whistle-blowers should not be doxed.”
Let me say it loud so you will understand: He, she, it IS NOT A WHISTLEBLOWER!
They in no way, shape or form fall under the auspices of “whistleblower” period.
They are a spy or a leaker or worse and should be referred to as such.
Clear enough?
Speaking of Hitler. It was Himmler and Goering who decided that Ernst Röhm and his Sturmabteilung were a danger to the party. They tapped his phone calls, drew up a dossier of allegations against him, and took it to Hitler. Röhm and HItler had been good friends for a very long time, and Hitler overlooked the fact that Röhm was gay because Röhm was extremely loyal, but in the end, the party took precedent over any long-time friendship, and Hitler gave the nod to "The Night of the Long Knives." Röhm was actually on holiday in the city of Tegernsee in Bavaria when he was arrested. Röhm was given the option to shoot himself in his jail cell, but he refused, and was shot at close range by two SS officers.
Lol!
I’m starting to get the hint that most in here do not think this qualifies as whistle blowing.
If so, then I agree, he should not get those protections.
But if there is any doubt, then there should be protection.
The benefit of the doubt goes toward protecting (alleged) whistle blowers so that future whistle blowers are not intimidated against ‘doing the right thing’ when corruption or criminality occurs. The main point is specifically about this individual. It’s about protecting whistle blowers in general.
Now, who adjudicates when someone qualifies as a whistle blower and when they do not?
I think that's it.
I have to step in here. While you are correct about doxxing, you don’t get to be a whistle blower without first hand information and/or original documentation. This person has neither.
Without this level of certainty, you are merely passing along a rumour and may unwittingly be passing along fake information. For all parties in a situation like this what is required is full disclosure, names of people making statements and documentation as to what has been said.
Expert witnesses need to explain the significance of anything that the general public needs full context for.
This exercise is closer to junk than a valid concern.
It’s the most convenient story ever for Dems. Just declare “Trump did something” and it has been “reported by a whistle blower” - which can’t be named. Using “whistle blower” implies immediate wrong-doing and also provides cover to never have to disclose who it is. Therefore we get “impeachment and treason” out of a nameless nobody and context-less information.
...less than a nothing burger.
Like I said.....Comey’s MO...
Everyone needs to stop referring to this crackpot as a “whistleblower.” It has already been determined by the DOJ that he does not meet the definition of a whistleblower. He is just a complainer, most likely a democrat complainer.
Who said Trump wants him doxed? HE wants to know who it is. The accused is entitled to FACE his accuser!
Was this knowledge supported by knowing someone who had stayed at the Trump Hotel?
<>This does not have to be the same person.
He has an absolute right to know the identity of the people sent to spy on him. And if the intel community will not give it to him, he should begin wholesale firings until they impeach him...
Then at least we will all be openly shown that the republic is finished. Maybe then we can start on eliminating them.
So you think Trump should have to endure governing in the certain knowledge that there are spies in his inner circle?
Don't tell me, a muslim.
I expect POTUS knows more about this than we do, and probably knows how the “complaint” originated. Doubtful it was a legitimate “whistleblower”.
