Tulsi Gabbard says U.S. should re-enter Iran nuclear deal, end sanctions in response...

Democratic presidential hopeful Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, D-Hawaii, said Thursday that she would re-enter the Iran nuclear deal and end sanctions in response to Iran's involvement in drone attack against Saudi Arabia oil facilities if she was president.

"What I would do is, I would re-enter the Iran nuclear deal to prevent Iran from continuing to move forward in building a nuclear weapon that puts us and the world further at risk," Gabbard said on "The Story with Martha MacCallum." "

And number two... end those crippling sanctions. Every day that we don't do this, every day we continue down this failed strategy Iran gets closer and closer to a nuclear weapon.

Gabbard called the attack a "retaliation" against "extreme sanctions."

"This this provocation, as you put it, did not just come from out of nowhere, "Gabbard said, responding to MacCallum. "It is a retaliation and it's a retaliation against the extreme sanctions that are on Iran that's basically making it impossible for them to sell their oil around the world."

“Gabbard was the only Democrat 2020 hopeful, that we might have had hope for. That is now gone, and Gabbard has joined Valierie Jarrette in league with the appeasers of the Mullahs of Iran for that genocidal terrorist regime’s drive to nuclear war.”

I agree. She found that sanity was not the ticket to success in the Democrat field, so she’s now joining the crowd.

I suspect, by putting on this hate-America act, she’s still trying for a VP slot.

Either way, her credibility is shot now.

Libs are soooo stupid. We’ve been through this exact scenario countless times with N. Korea under Clinton and then again under Obama. Every time a Kim wanted to collect some goodies, they just fired off a rocket or something. Worked every time. They got a payoff and all we got in exchange was more rockets going off.

Proper response to Iran’s aggression: Double sanctions. Increase pressure on allies to do likewise. Sell defensive weapon systems to likely Iranian targets.

Mainly because Bolton somehow thought it he was enough of a bastard he’d get his way. His knowledge and input were valuable but he ain’t the president

President is fully capable of having his own team. It is within his right to surround himself with Yes Men and remove reality checks and devils advocates and it’s taking some time to get there but yes, he has the last word. Probably a few more firings are needed.

I wonder how much money Iran paid her to say that.

Her response is complete and total surrender to Iran?

I have been on the record extensively here, opposing any U.S. military action to defend a country that ought to be fully capable of defending itself. Donald Trump has said the same thing in the past.

Having said that, this suggestion that we should restore that stupid Obama deal with Iran is idiotic. Go away, Tulsi.

You DID miss something. Both Gabbard and Bolton are morons. They want to see the U.S. on two different sides of an Iranian civil war.

The U.S. should not be on EITHER side.

"Tulsi Gabbard says U.S. should re-enter Iran nuclear deal, end sanctions in response to Saudi Arabia drone attack"

She was at least "interesting" to watch up to this statement meaning she said enough to put the DemoKKKrats on edge once in awhile. As for now:

Bye bye Tulsi.

"What I would do is, I would re-enter the Iran nuclear deal to prevent Iran from continuing to move forward in building a nuclear weapon that puts us and the world further at risk," Gabbard said

After all, history tells us how well that strategy worked with North Korea. If you truly want to keep an unstable rogue nation from developing weapons of mass destruction, you *don't* give them money and resources to develop those weapons just because they promise (wink, wink) not to. It is unconscionable that we have botched diplomacy to the point where belligerent nations threaten us because they expect generous payouts in return.

She has walked under that sign that says “Abandon hope all ye who enter here”. I really thought that she might come around, but I was wrong.

I was hopeful, but you're right.

She went full retard.

At ludicrous speed, too- she accelerated to plaid in little under a week. I gotta admit that I did not have her pegged as part of the Iranian Caucus.

It is foolish to think the Iranians are not working on the bomb, even at the expense of their people. Keep the sanctions. Go even harder on them, then let them whither on the vine. I would also make their navy start to “disappear.” The Persian gulf would be like the Bermuda Triangle for them.

Me, too. I wondered if she was a Leftist wacko in quasi Conservative clothing. Nice to see her true colors. Won’t even remotely trust her again.
