I’m thinking more of everyone who’s allowed to carry in an open carry state show up at Walmart to be banned for life in every store - see how many customer’s they’d have left.

Problem is, we’re running out of alternatives.

Used to enjoy Kmart as a less stressful alternative, but now those are all gone from the area. Regional chains like Ames and Hills are long gone. Target is a literal hornets nest of bad Liberal ideas.

We’re running out of places to shop here.

If they are not actively checking people for weapons and do not have armed security to protect you while you are disarmed, ignore the no weapons signs as they are not taking their responsibility for your personal safety seriously or from a legal standpoint.

Electronic face recognition is my guess. I’d bet some stores already do it without our knowledge.

So why can’t a baker ban gays from his store but this man can be banned?

1. ‘banned?’ and just how do they think they can enforce THAT!? ha ha
2. ridiculous
3. what with their crime and security problems, you’d think they’d be welcoming and even offering incentives for people to carry
4. their recent bs about firearms/ammo ...caused us to cease patronizing them. why go where you’re not wanted?
5. they really do have to figure out how to reduce the number of crazies and weirdos that collect at Walmart stores...
i realize this is a difficult thing but somehow they need to find a solution to this problem... otherwise more and more and more and more of their customers are going to shop elsewhere, or just order the same stuff, mostly, thru Amazon, etc.

Business owners are allowed to refuse service to anyone, for any reason, at any time.

Unless the customer is a homo couple that wants a wedding cake.

In Kansas a store can ask you to leave. If you refuse they can call the police for a trespass offence. It is not the business of another customer to call the police unless people are being threatened. Snowflakery is really not included.

Was in Walmart this morning. Neither pharmacy or eyeglass section opened till9:00.
The pharmacist seemed to be on meth. Hyper talking, couldn’t focus. Girl in eyeglass section having problems reading English. Both were black. Typical Walmart experience.

I loathe Target.
I get what I need from either Shoprite, Home depot or a mom&pop five&dime.

Since when does anybody mind their own business in this society? Some snowflake will see the gun, panic, call the cops and spin a tale which will have SWAT teams coming through the ceiling faster than you can say "unjustified shooting".

He was very short on common sense to sign that form with no lawyer present and surrounded by cops. NEVER sign anything like that without a lawyer present.

“he agreement a business makes when it gets its business license is that it becomes a place of public accommodation when it is open. They have the option of not providing service, but cant deny access when open.”

Well, they can deny access, but not to “protected classes”. That’s the only time there is any legal consequence for them denying access, and people carrying guns are not a “protected class”.

I am a fan of concealed carry because I’m not into confrontation. However if open carry is legal and a person wants to do it I am also a fan. If enough people do it , then seeing a gun won’t be a big deal. When you see someone in uniform open carrying do you get worried? I don’t get worried when I see someone openly carrying unless it’s an AK-47 with a 30 round magazine. Then my Spidey Senses are alert.

We going downtown in the middle of the night
We laughing and I'm jokin' and we feelin' alright
Oh I'm bad, I'm nationwide
Yes I'm bad, I'm nationwide

Walmart is merely asking law abiding gun owners to carry concealed, not openly.

The macho guys insisting that not *displaying* their guns somehow violates their 2A right to *carry* in WalMart, need to calm down.

Walmart lets you bring your penis into their store, too. As long as the other customers can’t see it, nobody will notice you have it & no questions will be asked.

Might want to dig deeper about this. This depends on the state. In all but a few states when you are “open for business to the general public”, your business property and building are considered as public access without discrimination. Anyone can claim to be a protected class in one form or another in any situation.

In this “open to the public” situation, all access discrepancies are civil matters and law enforcement cannot legally get involved if there has been no crime committed. They can ask you to leave, but they cannot make you leave even at the business owner’s request as long as it is “open to the general public”.

But if you completely “close to the public” then it is no longer considered public access or a civil matter and you can indeed have someone removed and charged with trespass. I have been on both sides of this legal fence many times myself over the years. Ca and Colorado are REAL bad about this.

Can I ask one of those who are insistent on open carrying - DO YOU HAVE a MAGA or KAG 2020 bumper sticker on your vehicle?

If not, WHY not?

See 57. I am under the impression that what you explained wrt dealing with shoplifters cant be applied to just anyone the store wants to bar entry from.
