In the swing state of North Carolina, it was happy-dance time for the beleaguered Republicans. Two hotly contested congressional races both went solidly into the GOP camp, helping the Republicans in the crazies-run House. State Sen. Dan Bishop won in the 9th district, and Greg Murphy won in the 3rd district and both will now get the opportunity to tell Reps. Ilhan Omar and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez that they are out to lunch. It was a conservative blowout.
Five thing stick out about it now:

Dems claiming a loss as a victory is the same drivel as when Robert Francis ORourke came in second in the Texas Senate race after he spent $85 million.
When you lose you lose.

The 9th District was hardly a “blowout,” but it was a good win nonetheless.
That, or simply ignoring what happened.
Of the news sites I routinely scan every morning, FR is the first mention I’ve seen of last night’s election results.
But you could say that the Democrats got “blown out”, because they went 0 for 2 on seats last night.
The individual race was not a blowout, but the night’s contest was.
Love the fact that Bishop was down 17 points in the “polls” and still won. Same way Hillary was up in the “polls”, that Trump is trailing the schizoid Democrats in the “polls” and that the Democrats actually believe their own propaganda. Simply refuse to believe that come 2020, the American people will endorse the socialist, open borders, nation ending, amoral platform of the Democrats however slick and deceiving it is packaged.
I would strongly suggest that any “Blue Dog” Democrats in the House and Senate switch political parties right now and, immediately become Republicans...especially Joe Manchin, Senator from West Virginia. If not, they will all go down to defeat in 2020!!! The handwriting is clearly on the wall.
I would also suggest that these “Blue Dog” Democrats, pay heed and close attention to the upcoming already failed, 2020 Democrat POTUS debate this coming Thursday, September 12th, 2019, being held on “FAILED” cable TV channel “CNN”....dummies switch parties now or go down with your lunatic, nutcase, fringe of America haters!!!
Take note Democrats...as POTUS Trump attacks in New Mexico, California, Oregon, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Maine, New Hampshire, Virginia, etc. Trumpie is going to do you foolish, idiot, Democrat Party losers in big time, politically!!! “MODERATE DEMOCRATS, SWITCH PARTIES, NOW, & BECOME REPUBLICANS”!!!

The blue dog Democrats should be locked in a room and forced to listen to the LBGT town meeting when that is held.
If they can listen to it all the way through without puking they get a big check from their favorite military industrial complex contractor. :-)
“It was a close thing...” Umm, yeah, umm, about that? 46,000 people who previously cast votes for the Democrat candidate didn’t show up. If you draw the conclusion that this is a close district when the do over election only gets 2/3rds of the vote you got last election, you’re deluding yourself.
2018 election: 138,341 votes for (D) Dan McCreedy.
2019 special election: 92,066
46,275 votes lost in 10 months.
It speaks volumes that Republicans and their supporters acknowledge TRUTH and support decency wherever they present themselves.
Democrats and their supporters do not. They circle the wagons and protect their man--and their power. Expect high minded talk from such people but dishonorable behavior.
Had the democrat won in either district, it would, of course, be the dominant story of the day. Another proof that “the walls are closing in” on President Trump.
The Democrats spent a lot of time and money in the NC 9th race. Bishop was down double digits just two weeks ago, and his opponent Dan McCready was all but considered a shoo in by the NC political establishment and the media. He had tons of outside money plus the media helping him out. Behind closed doors the RATs are worried.
The more divorced from reality the polls are before the election, the greater the shock and tanty will be the instant they lose
