The 9th District was hardly a “blowout,” but it was a good win nonetheless.
But you could say that the Democrats got “blown out”, because they went 0 for 2 on seats last night.
The individual race was not a blowout, but the night’s contest was.
Well, it’s a matter of perspective. When the media is saying you are losing by 11 and you win by 2 in a swing district, it’s a blowout of sorts.
But yes, 2 is hardly a romp. But is hardly a “troubling” margin.
The most important message I took from this is that last year’s mid-terms are over. The voters are now associating the dem brand with their Presodential candidates and the crapola the House has been running.
