Few races are as convoluted as the one in North Carolinas Ninth Congressional District, which is 10 months after Election Day 2018 the last vote of the midterm elections. Experts see the race between State Senator Dan Bishop, a Republican, and the entrepreneur Dan McCready, a Democrat, as a test of President Trumps clout in suburban areas.

Thanks for this thread... I guess it’s looking good, so far?
The black districts always wait until all the other votes are counted so they know how much special sauce to inject.
Crossing my fingers.
Hope they dont start bringing in the boxes of absentees & provisional ballots for the next week
It’s a time-honored tactic of the Rats.
Times has called the race for Bishop!! Another win for the R’s. I am not tired of winning!
Looks like the New York Times just called it for the Republicans.
On another thread they told me this was over.
As long as there are unreported precincts, it can be stolen.
Bishop won.
SHUT IT DOWN, THE R WON (where have you been?)
YAY DAN BISHOP!
YAY PRESIDENT TRUMP!
Has McCready conceded?
Bishop obviously wouldnt have won if the President hadnt held that fine rally for him.
Possibly
Might have been a squeaker
I guess President Trump still has the horsepower to influence elections. Maybe they have another Access Hollywood bombshell to drop on him. Problem is, it didnt work in 2016. Voters know Trump was a rich playboy. Its baked into the cake.
Or that tried and true Dem favorite—ballots found in the trunk of a car. Funny how the wind always blows one way. When was the last time that Republicans "found" ballots in the trunk of a car?
Unless an R wins by 10% or more, it's not over.
I bet the Democrat was some ex-military, pro-gun, anti-abortion Democrat.
You're close. McReady is an ex marine. The Charlotte Observer which is a leftist rag claimed he was for "common sense" gun safety regulation. Which of course means he's a gun grabber. I don't know his stance on abortion. They claimed he is an entrepreneur. The reality is he started a supposedly "green" energy company to make solar panels and got government contracts through his connections. He would've been a rubber stamp vote for Pelosi.
