It is scary how many people will vote for the crap that these Democrats are touting.

Especially when the DEMOCRATS are 100% in favor of PARTICAL BIRTH ABORTION, (which isn't being mentioned in the primary debates).

I love to turn off the sound and just look at the lefty talking heads’ body language on nights like this.

They look like their favorite dog just died.

He won’t win it by 3, it will be double digits.

“If the Democrats had run an openly Marxist, wild-eyed candidate, would that have drawn more Democrats to vote or would the Dem have lost by a greater margin?”

if the Dems had run someone like Beto, I suspect they would have been totally crushed ...

Sweetie, the R won this district tonight by a MUCH GREATER margin than the last time. And it is in a district that’s pretty well split between R and D.

OK, Sweetie... got it. ;-)

I *will* defer to you, as you are actually from NC. I didn't realize this district was pretty well split between R and D. I thought it was a more heavily Republican district.

Glad to hear Bishop won by a much greater margin than the last Republican. Who I understand was more of a RINO, as another FReeper stated?

Just like I thought, another ex-military type, pretending to be a conservative. I am sure he would never vote for Pelosi as Speaker!

Wow, I’ve noticed you’re always a ray of sunshine. Suppose you’ll tell me I’m just a deplorable in denial but don’t bother, I’m good.

That’s EXACTLY what I did... I always mute CNN anyway but on nights like this it is so sweet to see them down and out. I can’t resist looking at Lemon. You know exactly what is happening just by looking at his face. Totally can’t conceal his emotions AT ALL.

You are making the same mistake (actually in the case of the media its a lie) that the media does when you conflate President Trump’s margin in a district with the district’s PVI.

They are two different things.

1. Presidential turnout is different. Comparing it to off-year/special elections is a special kind of stupid.

2. The PVI for NC-09 is R+8. The GOP won by 2.5%. Underperformance. Yes. Terrible? No. Especially considering that just last year, this was GOP +0.6. Basically a 2% point improvement from last year.

3. NC-03. No one wants to talk about that. That election happened tonight too. NC-03 has a PVI of R+12. The GOP won by 24 frickin points tonight. That result was actually near Trump’s margin. Keep in mind that NC-03 also had a hurricane hit two of the more Republican leaning counties.

IN FACT, Murphy overperformed TRUMP’s 2016 margin in the non-coastal counties by 4.5%.

Why don’t you want to talk about that?

Why doesn’t the media want to mention that?

This is a district that Trump won by 11. So winning it by 2 or 3 should not inflate your confidence.

You cannot compare a special election to a general election. Many more will come out for Trump in 2020 and Republicans down ballot will ride the wave accordingly.

Basically Bishop should win re-election by 15 points or more come 2020 - mark my post and let me know how my prediction turns out.

That makes this special election victory extra sweet.

The Dems don’t run on their whacko policies, they lie to look conservative. From Dan McCready’s website:

Dan McCready is a Marine Corps veteran, small business owner, husband, and father of four. Dan’s running for U.S. Congress as a Democrat in North Carolina’s 9th District. After his opponent’s campaign committed election fraud in last November’s election, a re-do special election is being held on September 10. Dan’s running for Congress to put country over party and lower healthcare and prescription drug costs, cut middle class taxes, and strengthen public schools.

Wow. Same 'ol crap that 'RAT candidates always state even here in leftist Connecticut.

And you just KNOW that if McCready won, he would obediently fall in line behind Pelosi. Like all the rest of the democRATs.

I’m sorry for the “sweetie” commentary. I lost patience. Mark Harris wasn’t very good. Bishop is a little better but I’m taking a wait and see with him.

Thanks for that.

I’ve asked this on other threads — does anyone think for one minute that DJT is unaware of RAT vote fraud?

Just because he’s not talking or tweeting about it doesn’t mean that he’s ignorant of the threat.

I would submit that it’s a matter of sound operational security not to discuss it at this point. Why let the RATs know how much we know?

Especially when the DEMOCRATS are 100% in favor of PARTICAL BIRTH ABORTION, (which isn't being mentioned in the primary debates).

I know. It's absolutely appalling how far the 'RATs have gone to the dark side. And you're right - you will *never* hear anything about partial birth abortion in the 'RAT primary debates.

Yes, we will know soon enough about Dan Bishop. I saw him with President Trump at that fantastic rally last night. Bishop appeared to be a Trump supporter. Hopefully he actually is...

Par for the course and really no different than the GOPe running on repealing Obamacare, building the wall, etc. We can thank POTUS for the wall, of course.
