Democrats' Platform: Ban All The Things!
(Excerpt) Read more at facebook.com ...
I am glad they are doing this but give the RNC a C for execution. They included clips from candidates no one even knows. But they are on the right track.
I understand they wanted a commercial in the dems’ own words. Somehow it would be more effective if they also show the IMPACT of the bans and how it would affect average Americans. Maybe that’s a separate commercial.
Thanks for posting.
You can see it at the Facebook link without an account. It’s only a few seconds long. Turn up the sound.
This is what the Democrat/Left fears more than anything ... the impending loss of one or two radical justices on the USSC.
I think the ad needs some work if they are hoping to convince anyone not to vote for any og those bozos.
og = of
“WTH with FaceBook?”
RNC posted there, not me .... they post their ads there because that’s where most people go to look at videos ... makes zero sense to post videos where voters you want to convince don’t go ... that would be a Democrat tactic ...
“This is what the Democrat/Left fears more than anything ... the impending loss of one or two radical justices on the USSC. “
There’s a funny thing about the Supremes. They are, for the most part, well past their best-by. If the liberals on the court were concerned more about policy and liberalism than about personal aggrandizement, they would have resigned while Obama was president and that would have assured someone even more to their left would be seated in their place. Instead, they all hang on to “power” until they are taken out of office on a stretcher.
Likewise, a truly conservative president would give up his last year or so of an eight year term to his VP, providing the VP was willing to run for president. That would greatly improve the VP’s chances of getting elected. If every conservative with two terms did this, then it might keep the presidency conservative for decades to come.
But we never see that sort of thing as people who get into power would rather die than give it up. (And, certainly there are valid arguments against a president doing this. But I sincerely hope that conservatives on the court don’t dare death when they are in their eighties like RBG has.)
“They included clips from candidates no one even knows.”
I think the point of the ad is that ALL Democrat candidates are nuts ... this is the kind of ad that needs to be run nationally, and ALL so-called “local” elections, like U.S. House elections need to be made national elections ... FORCE all Dem House candidates to either defend or deny the national party’s complete insanity ... that’s the ONLY way we’re going to be able to take back the House ...
“Somehow it would be more effective if they also show the IMPACT of the bans and how it would affect average Americans.”
I think U.S. voters are perfectly able to understand the “implication” of no cars, no meat, no electricity, no fuel, no heating, etc. I don’t think additional “explanation” is necessary and would in fact be ridiculously condescending ... far better for families, coworkers and friends to discuss the “implications” amongst each other in a WTF fashion ... they can do that better than any ad could ...
“This is just the warm-up. The LGBT town hall will be the main event.”
personally, i don’t think most voters give a rip one way or the other about the LGBGTQWERTY nonsense ... i DO think that banning cars, meat, energy, electricity, fuel, air travel, and winter heating is in fact the main event because that’s something that most voters would be concerned about ...
Agreed—the LGBT town hall is just an opportunity to show how unhinged the Democrats are—voters may be interested in that...it actually reinforces that “they really are that crazy” on the environmental stuff.
“FB is a no-go zone for lots of people”
maybe for the few people that inhabit FR, but there’s a MUCH bigger world out there than FR, and the millions of voters we need to convince to join the Trump and conservative cause inhabit FB, twitter, etc. ...
you forget that Trump has 64 million twitter followers, and that the Dems claim that one of the reasons Trump won was because Trump’s campaign ran tens of millions of highly personalized ads on FB, and Hillary’s people turned up their noses at the whole idea of advertising on FB ... Sixty Minutes actually did a big post-election segment with Brad Parscale, Trump’s campaign manager about his genius use of FB and Hillary’s FB stupidity, and certainly the RNC thinks FB is great place to run ads to attract new voters to our cause ...
Save it. Let Wile E. Coyote go full speed ahead until his rocket runs out of gas and he has no place to go but down. Montages and ads right now might make him cautious.
I agree-no rush on this.
Now is the time to start crafting the generic anti-Democratic candidate ads—plenty of time to fill in the name of the designated clown later.
“I think the Democrat/Left candidates have an accurate, non-exaggerated opinion of their whacked-out base “
agree 100% ... i’ve repeatedly posted statements like that. here’s one from a couple of days ago:

For later.

I got it to work by clicking the play arrow right away. (Instead of waiting for it to autoplay which brings up the FB log-in or join screen.)
It’ll be more focused when there’s only one clown in the driver’s seat, with a running mate and maybe a few cabinet members selected from the other clowns as consolation prizes.
“Now is the time to start crafting the generic anti-Democratic candidate ads”
indeed. Trump’s GOP MUST nationalize ALL Congressional elections if we’re going to take the House and keep the Senate ... We MUST force ALL Dem House candidates to either defend or deny the complete insanity of the national Dem party ...
That’s all well and good but given that you are posting it here, be aware that you’re excluding a lot of this particular audience by linking to Facebook.
Many of us are tech savvy enough to have long ago put Facebook’s domains into the DNS blackhole to avoid all the creepy tracking.
