Walmart is set to end sales of handguns in Alaska and will discontinue the sale of short-barrel rifle and handgun ammunition in stores nationwide, the super chain's president and CEO announced Tuesday afternoon.

I don’t shop much at Walmart but I do go their occasionally because of ammo, heavy cream and other items-——because I boycotted Amazon. But I guess Walmart will be added to my list——I’m really getting fed up with this crap.
I always tell my kids that it is a club.
You know that. I know that. But sometimes it is nice to dream.
Yea - and they have just become another “killing zone” by asking that no patron open carry - even in open carry states wear a gun in their stores any longer! Everyone has or is becoming a scared p*ssy! - Don’t they see who is doing the shooting and do they not want anyone to be able to defend against the evil - or just stand back and wait to be killed and let the “blind professional govt ‘perts’” do it - if and when they may show up?
Don’t forget cigs and alcohol.
Most AR's have 16"-18" barrels. I would think this is what they are referring to.
Think I'll run by Walmart this afternoon and take advantage of any closeout sales in the Sporting Goods Dept. /sarc
Aldi does NOT allow concealed carry in their stores.Thats a big disqualifier.
Sorry, I don’t carry. No issue for me.
Here in CA, they’ve already quit firearms. Now CA has bock ground checks for ammo. It doesn’t surprise me they would quit ammo too.
Thanks, I knew I was overlooking something.
They need to think this through and abandon the virtue signalling.
It doesn’t matter what reason. This is
infringement”. No other way to put it. It’s “infringement”
We’ve purchased our last from Walmart.
Shooting themselves in the foot...
We’re kind of running out of places to shop though.
OK, I reread that, thank for clearing that up.
What globalist ivy league rock did this CEO crawl out from under ?
Actually Doug McMillon has a Bachelors Degree from Arkansas and an MBA from Tulsa. They’ve infested ALL universities at this point.
“Aldi does NOT allow concealed carry in their stores.Thats a big disqualifier....”
Like I said earlier, I do 99% of my shopping in smaller, local companies. Walmart was one of the last big companies I “used” to get items for less money. I’m tired of giving “people” my money that’s used against me. Taxes to local indoctrinators are bad enough, I will not give it voluntarily to a company that intends to destroy me as well.
Good. Id rather my local gun store owner get all those sales and profits Walmart has decided to reject anyway, I know where he stands on the 2nd Amendment.

Exactly. Many have griped and groaned about WM taking away from the Mom and Pop shops...here’s our chance to build back up those mom and pop shops.
Same here. I've long been able to do my shopping elsewhere, but enjoy the hard work and welcome on display at Wal-Mart.
Not no more.
Whiskey Tango Halifax?!?
