That’s true to some degree. However, like nature, the market hates vacuums and these cowardly big box stores -Walmart, Dicks, Target, etc, are creating markets for disaffected customers put off by their anti-consumer business decisions. So, I wouldn’t be surprised to see a big chain someday fill the void, and that would make them pretty much immune to the same Marxist pressure that’s causing these other businesses to fold.
If you can’t avoid the other chains completely, at least cut down on how much you spend there. It’s much more manageable than outright boycotts. That’s what I do at Dicks now where there’s literally nowhere else around me to get my paintball bottles refilled for my sodastream knockoff, but I won’t spend a thin dime there on anything else. And, in the meantime, there are plenty of good places to buy ammo online and many mom and pop shops who could use the business.
Just asking:
If YOUR state permits ‘open carry’ how can a globalist company that sells only China products stop ‘open carry’???
They are just embarrassed because ammunition is the only thing they sell thats made in the USA.
Dear Walmart. I see JC Penny in your future.
“I always thought, theyll go after the ammunition rather than the guns. A gun without ammunition is a paper weight.”
Time to get dies and components and press and store enough that you can load essential calibers to you. As far a Wal-Mart goes I will not shop there. Would be interesting if there was nation wide boycott of Wal-Mart. Infringing on my lawful right in my state to open carry.... I never do but should be able to if I wanted too.
AND might be a good time to buy up and store ammo in your calibers.
> Hate to admit this but theyve got us surrounded.
I don’t recall where I heard this:
“It’s a target rich environment.”
Better to get it from Cheaper than Dirt, AmmoLand, etc. I don’t buy anything from Field & Streams or its parent company.
Your idea does not make any sense.
Since the manufactures where cranking out as much as they could produce.
Might have done some good but with new ammo being made every day.
It is a wrong idea.
Going the way of Dick’s. So sad to see Walmart do this.
I want to see what the reaction to this policy is going to be up here in Northeast Kingdom. Open carry is so common; wonder what the blowback will be?
I suspect the open-carry advocates up here will challenge this. We’ll see.
Well, I’ll never set foot in another Walmart.
Not good.
Democrat politicians and media: “We need consumer activity to slow down so we can get this economy crashing as part of our hope to derail the Trump Presidency!”
Chinese Stocked Wal~Mart:
They’ll be shooting themselves in the foot.
Hogs nationwide are VERY hungry . . .
Walmart claims 20% of all US ammo sales are through them.
The Dayton dickhead had .223 pistol upper and 100 round drum magazine. An SBR configuration. Unlikely authorized with an ATF tax stamp.
Interesting claim. With all the bulk providers, I am skeptical.
