Shark Tank star Kevin OLeary was involved in a weekend boat crash on a Canadian lake that killed two people, according to reports.
The 65-year-old reality star said his wife, Linda, was driving his boat when they crashed into another vessel Saturday night on Lake Joseph in Ontario, TMZ reported.
Late Saturday night I was a passenger in a boat that had a tragic collision with another craft that had no navigation lights on and then fled the scene of the accident, OLeary told the outlet. I am fully cooperating with authorities.
The two victims were on a larger, 13-person vessel that was returning to a lake cottage around 11:30 p.m. when it allegedly rammed into the businessmans boat, the Toronto Sun reported.

No running lights at night is asking for it.
had no navigation lights on and then fled the scene of the accident,...
If that’s true, then he’s likely in the clear.
I assume “hit and run” applies to boating accidents too?
In the 1920s, the first thought would have been smuggling.
I can only imagine how much alcohol was involved in this accident.
Who fled the scene of the accident? It’s unclear in this article. How could the victims have fled?
Yes...................
There were 13 people on the boat.
I guess the 2 who died weren’t steering?
I dunno.
Other boat source said lights were on and OLearys boat fled. Oldest looking for video.
We had a similar accident here few years back with a local celeb radio DJ. He was cleared because the other boat had no lights on at all and was in the middle of the channel...........
Dead guy was at bow.
I’ll show my ignorance :)
What does that mean?
Probably the reason they ran..................
I believe the oleary boat went over the bow of the larger boat and killed the man at the bow instantly.
The pointy end.
I guess I missed the “13” part. YIKES. Who would flee an accident with dead people? In a rush to get to hospital? I live in a river and lake community and it seems like every week we get stories like this. Lots of drinking and partying going on.
The front of the boat.
Im sorry. I really shouldnt treat you that way. You are the best friend I have. (In b4, I can see why!)
I would assume you could rather quickly let the other boat know you’re booking it to the hospital whether it’s legal or not.
Unless there was alcohol involved.
Then I guess youd be in a heap of trouble.
But I know as much about boating as African bushmen so I will leave the guessing to those more knowledgeable than me :)
