If we didn't have DST the sun would be shining through my window at 3:30AM in June. If we had DST year round it would be dark at 3:30PM in December in my little corner of paradise.

We moved to AZ, but I remote into a job on eastern time, so it affects me anyway. Plus when everyone else is on DST, Rush is put on one-hour delay in Phoenix, so I have to go to IHeart to hear him live.

This is the single dumbest thing I've ever heard of. Look, we all know that that DST is racist---it was invented so that Blacks would miss their "freedom trains". White men knew that Black folks would cook and sweat under the relentless heat of global warming, even though the global warming meme would not be discovered until people became "woke" some 154 years after the abolition of slavery. but again, slavery could never have been abolished in the US had it not been for Black people! This has seldom, if ever been discussed. Whites, especially conservative Republican Whites, would have never been able to claim this righteous position without the participation of Blacks!

Sorry, Rush. There are numerous legitimate studies showing that there are spikes of heart attacks and vehicle accidents right after the DST change, so yes, it is killing people.

At the same time, it’s a legitimate point that without DST, many of the northern states would have sunrise before 4am in the summer, and on full-time DST the sun would set before 4pm in the winter.
