"I think the Statue of Liberty is weeping," she added.

And what role does the Statue of Liberty play in our Constitutional order?

It was my parents who had to be sure they had sponsors.

Uncle John sponsored my mom and her sisters, he had a home and they lived in a tiny appartment in the attic.

Freegards

Albright is a dumb*ss.

That’s dumb...and *ss.

As in Dorkbama the Muslim eunuch quota baby.

Statues don’t have emotions or tear ducts, stupid, pointless woman.

What’s her Home Address?

Does she lock her doors or has she removed them from the Hinges?

Is there a Fence surrounding her Property or has she torn it down?

Does she have a sign out front that says “Mi Casa es su Casa”?

Just askin’...

It’s a nice statue but some poem written on it after the fact isn’t exactly a legally binding document.

The statue can speak for itself. Well, maybe it can’t, but she’s putting words in its mouth.

“pointless woman.”

She’s as sharp as a marble.

And I think that it is one of the most un-American things I've ever heard.

The ability to be independent was the standard for immigrants for generations. But that's a new concept to Halfbright?

Probably because it was never intended to be “The Statue of Taxpayer Funde3d Handouts”

The statue of liberty apparently wasn’t sobbing when Obama was deporting hundreds of thousands.

My grandfather came here at 16 years old with his younger sibling when both their parents died within 24 hours of each other. They still had to have a sponsor. Thank goodness my aunt sponsored them and my grandfather started working at Hudson Motor Car Company in Detroit and became a supervisor. He worked to help support his siblings until they were all 18.

All my great-grandparents came to the USA from Norway.

They had to: AFTER A LONG TRIP BY BOAT:

Pass a health exam....
Prove they had a ‘sponsor’....
Prove they had a place to go to to live.....
Prove they had a skill they could make a living doing...
SIGN A PAPER STATING THEY WOULD NEVER BE ON THE PUBLIC DOLE...

NONE of the invaders pouring over our borders today can do any of this, and many of those already here with “Green Cards’ also cannot fulfill what my great-grandparents had to do to be admitted to the USA in the mid-1850’s.

Trump is correct to keep plugging the leaks in our current systems.
