Skip to comments.Get Him Tin Foil! MSNBC Analyst Claims Barr, Trump ‘Facilitated Mr. Epstein’s Suicide’

For the liberal media, conspiracy theories are fine so long as theyre the stuff of liberal fairy tales. MSNBCs Hardball illustrated that point on Tuesday night as MSNBC legal analyst Paul Butler wildly asserted that, since Donald Trump was President and Bill Barr was Attorney General, the two have, in some ways...facilitated [Jeffrey] Epstein's suicide.
Host Chris Matthews certainly wasnt expecting that when, after introducing Butler, he complained about Trumps chutzpah to just say to throw out Bill Clinton and try to trash his name into this mess regarding Clintons closeness with Epstein.
Butler asserted that Donald Trump is trying to deflect and defended Clinton by suggesting that Trump and Clinton have similar relationships with Epstein when it comes to their social lives and trips on Epsteins private plane (the latter of which is false).
Then came the tin-foil hat claim that would have made AM Joy host Joy Reid happy: The fact is that Mr. Epstein took his own life. He died while he was in the custody of the Trump administration. Bill Barr directs the Bureau of Prisons, and they allowed, in some ways, they facilitated Mr. Epstein's suicide.
As hes done on occasion when guests act too crazy for even him, Matthews stepped in to chastise Butler (click expand):

More like a straitjacket and some happy juice!!
They are really getting DESPERATE!
TDS at its highest level.
Next thing you know, they will be saying the CIA, under directions from Trump had him suicided...............
Nope. It was the Russians.
Yep, POTUS Trump sent his Consigliere Barr to visit Epstein in Jail.
They took a walk, smoked a Cigar and talked about doing the right thing for the Family.
Nope. The President was probably more interested in helping Epstein stay alive. Total set up for murder, but not by Donald J. Trump.
What would Trump’s interest be in protecting the reputation of the Clintons?
Epstein “committed suicide” in Manhattan—isn’t that close to where Hillary resides? How hard would it have been for her to pay off guards or have loyalists in place in the prison?

Now Barr on the other hand...
Give it a couple weeks and Biden will be owning it on his watch.
Agreed. Ex-CIA: Iran-Contra, Ruby Ridge.
Had I been William Barr, I would have pro-actively ensured Jeffrey Epstein’s survival.
In short....hes a leech.
They wouldn’t be going there without direction from the top.
Interesting. Even they think the autopsy isn’t going to back their play here.
