I sure wouldn’t shop at Walmart. A nightmare.
You have a plan for your shopping.
Howdy Kathy. (((hugs)))
Thanks for the ping-a-ling. Hope this hasn’t been a mad Tuesday.
I live across the street from Neighborhood Walmart A small version of a super market with agent pharmacy. Walmart built them when cities let unions tell them to restrict sq footage so walmart could not put large supermarkets inside their stores in california.
I go twice week and walk over. No crowd at 7:45 AM, after the kids are tucked into school and people on their way to work Shelves being stocked with fresh items. Pharmacy ha sheraton service but doesn’t open till 9.
Dirtiest one I’ve been in just west of Hood River oregon a full Walmart. Clean ones in the midwest and south.
Trader Joes is cool, but we don’t have them where I live. Plus it’s expensive!
Greetings to all at the Canteen!
To all our military men and women, past and present,
THANK YOU
for your service!
You Are Walmart
You like to pinch pennies when you grocery shop, and you're proud of how far you can stretch your dollar.
You are a no frills shopper, and you are good at getting what you need without breaking the bank.
You simply don't think it's worth it to shop at a gourmet store to pay double the price for the same food.
You are more likely to eat to live than to live to eat. That being said, you eat better than most of your friends - for a fraction of the price.
LOL! They pretty much nailed it this week.
I’ve been to one of those in OK, and they are really nice. We don’t have one where I live. Just the Super Stores.
That was very close to how you are! LOL!
If a store is clean and well stocked that’s about enough for me.
I was 7-11.....I detest shopping,,order online and have it delivered....no impulse purchases,ever.
Thank you!
Two Buck Chuck (wine) comes with postage and handling charges. Yours for just $11.99. :-)
LOL! Yes, it IS how I am about grocery shopping. And I do hit Wally World often for cat food and litter since it’s cheaper there. For our food, it’s Food Lion and I’ll be heading there tomorrow.
That sure makes a difference.
LOL! Good to know!
I hope it’s cooler with you having to get out.
Howdy, PRO.
Did you have a good weekend? Any range time with your son?
I hope it hasn’t been as hot there as it has here. You wouldn’t want to leave the house otherwise.
We-e-e-ell I dunno about cooler but they SAY the humidity won’t be as high as it’s been the past few days. That would help a little. Today was horrendous and I didn’t go ANYwhere.
The “cold” front is moving through now and we had some storms earlier. Now there’s just a nice steady rain and it’s fairly cool.
Did you get to go to the wildlife thingy today? See any cool raptors?
Good weekend, son and I did do some range time!
If you were on FB you could see pics I posted, just saying, LOL.
After our few days of triple digits we've cooled back down to the '80's and low '90's, fairly typical.
Your summer has been much hotter than ours, you and the kittehs surviving?
We did get to go to the raptor show. They had four different types of birds: a barn owl..which is much prettier in person, 2 little tiny screech owls, the kestrel and a red-tailed hawk, that was bigger than I thought it would be. Here is one of the pictures I took of a darling little kestrel. |
