Millionaire pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, who apparently killed himself while in federal custody in Manhattan, was taken off suicide watch in late July at the request of his attorneys, according to a report.

But there is at least the possibility that he is being waterboarded in Guantanamo (or in Italy) right now. The other alternative, of course, is that he is abusing a 12-year old right now. Or he's dead. If he's dead, it's because the Bad Guys got him, and it might mean that there truly are no Good Guys.

where I work even rookie officers would have made the right call. We had 2-3 suicides a year and the legislature reamed us a new one. We stepped it up about 1990 and were known for our procedures.
The BOP and the Natl Institute of Corrections are supposed to set standards nationwide.
Many honest officers are traumatized by deaths on their watch, including inmates.
