That is really our only choice. Lots of people on this site are grandparents - are you grandparents, and you know who you are, ready to tell your kids to keep their kids (your grand kids), out of public schools? Can they be convinced to give up on the Jones’s, maybe even live in a, dread the thought, an apartment - so they have enough money left to home school, or send their kids to private schools? It’s going to be tough...the free daycare and free ‘education’ is very, very, tempting...
If we do not have those types of father/son, or father/daughter talks, and if we don’t convince them...then it all ends, for us and for them.

Sure, but how many Scalia’s and Thomases have we gotten from Democrats? Do you REALLY THINK that there can be a happy ending for our side if we let AOC and her clan populate the courts.
Give me 7 or 8 justices who are with us 85% of the time, and we’ll win VIRTUALLY EVERY CASE...even with more Kavenaughs (but God forbid we get another Souter...but he is the ONLY hard-leftist that any Republican has appointed since after Nixon - even Sandra Dee was somewhat conservative at the beginning, and still not a flaming Leftist when she retired...much better than RGB, for example).

What if a Red Flag law was tied to a nationwide constitutional carry law? Would you oppose that?
What if a Red Flag law was tied to arming teachers and eliminating “Gun Free Zones”? Would you oppose that?

Here’s a law we should pass, a law preventing any new knee jerk gun laws being proposed every time the country has a shooting.
But it will keep the mentally ill from buying a gun that is all that matters. The sheep have decided. We will get Red Flag Laws but they will have safeguards that will stop all and any abuse built into them. Feel better now? And safer?
Even 5 conservatives is a good start.

There is a USSC gun control case coming in this coming autumn.

Agree, but when you have 85% conservatives, which seems to be the best available these days (unless they figure out a way to close Scalia or Thomas), and then have ‘controversial’ cases - what typically happens is that no one than one of those 85%’s will buckle - so if you have 6 or more, we’ll still win almost all of those cases.
What ticks me off is the way people on our side aren’t willing to give it another year or two until RGB is replaced and simply give up now, sit out elections, and don’t give a shit about what that means for their kids, and grand kids.
I see RGB retiring after this coming term.
With the Dem field pretty much helping to cement Trump’s second term,we will get that 85%.
Hopefully. But even so, there will be an election before the full effect of her replacement is seen.
...and a bunch of idiots on our side will sit it out because they cannot deal with waiting a bit more.
We’re so close that I can taste it...but so can the Dems, we better be ready for them!
