Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI) took shots at Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) and her prosecutorial record during Wednesday night's Democratic Debate.
"Senator Harris says she's proud of her record as a prosecutor and she'll be a prosecutor as president. But I'm deeply concerned about this record. There are too many examples to cite but she put over 1,500 people in jail for marijuana violations and then laughed about it when she was asked if she ever smoked marijuana," Gabbard said. "She blocked evidence that would have freed an innocent man from death row until the courts forced her to do so. She kept people in prison beyond their sentences to use them as cheap labor for the State of California and she fought to keep cash bail systems in place. That impacts poor people in the worst kind of way."

Gabbard was asked about aspects of the debate during a Thursday appearance on MSNBC's Live with Ali Velshi," at which point Gabbard accused host Yasmin Vossoughian of being fed talking points from Sen. Kamala Harris' (D-CA) presidential campaign.
The claim came about when Vossoughian questioned Gabbard about her meeting with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, the Daily Caller reported.
Vossoughian wanted to know if Gabbard's meeting with al-Assad is the same as Gabbard's claim that President Donald Trump supports Al-Qaeda. Gabbard was offended by the thought.
"I don't know how you could equate that," she responded.
"- that you'd be meeting with the leader of Syria, that would be responsible for the killings of over half a million people who ordered the chemical attacks on children in his own country?" Vossoughian asked.
According to the Congresswoman, she would meet with the president or leader of any country if it meant establishing peace and keeping her fellow brother and sisters in uniform out of harms way.
If that means meeting with a dictator, meeting with an adversary in order to accomplish that mission of keeping the American people safe, making sure our troops are not continuing to be sent on these wasteful wars putting their lives at risk and making sure weve got the resources for the American people, I will do what is necessary, she explained.
"So you don't see the parallels there -" Vossoughian asked.
Gabbard referenced to former presidents meeting with various dictators and other world leaders during their time.
"So, why meeting with people like Stalin or meeting with Bashar al-Assad but not necessarily meeting with the leaders of Saudi Arabai or meeting or having a relationship with them?" Vossoughian asked. She said she wanted to get Gabbard's take because there "seems to be some inconsistencies" with what the Congresswoman was saying.
Gabbard made it clear she believed MSNBC was running with Harris' talking points because the California Senator refuses to address the issues with her record. Specifically, the Congresswoman was referencing the al-Assad meeting, which Harris continually launches at Gabbard.
Every time I come back here on MSNBC, you guys talk to me about these issues. It sounds like these are talking points that Kamala Harris and her campaign are feeding you because shes refusing to address the questions that were posed to her, Gabbard said.
Gabbard accuses an MSNBC host of being fed a line of questioning from Harris's team.
Replacements for Americans. California is loaded with them. And it’s why California has become a one party leftwing State.
“She still supports open borders, abortion on demand, Medicare for All, and gun control. “
In other words she’s exactly like the GOP establishment’s candidate for Governor here in California, Neel Kashkari.
Maybe we just figured out Tucker Carlson’s FR alias?
This was a very unfair interview. It looks like Tulsi had at least 40 IQ points in Yasmin Vossoughian. Kind of like Woody Allen in the ring with Mohammed Ali.
Tulsi is cute
I was present to hear her deliver this speech.
I was not impressed

That’s me, up on the hill, with the big flag
The msdnc interviewer almost sounded like she was challenging Gabbard’s attacks on Trump. I don’t believe that was to help Trump though.
She still supports open borders, abortion on demand, Medicare for All, and gun control.
I'm glad you pointed that out. Tulsi is no better than Mayor Pete.
What a boring speech and a boring speaker.
Does anyone have any idea what she was talking about?
She's not "cute" or even all that attractive. She's just cuter, or more attractive than anyone else running...
BFD!
Her interview with Anderson Cooper went along the same lines. (5:10 Mark). She must be getting tired of media people on the same script.

And, your dream girl who I notice youve been pushing for all over this site, states that our POTUS is a supporter of hamas. Shes a freakin moron.
Get over this insane crush you have
Do we think Tulsi is more likeable than any of the other Dem candidates? Yes.
Would any of us vote for Tulsi instead of Trump? Hell no.
Would I want to see her as Hawaii’s senator instead of that current batch? Oh, yes. If I were a Hawaii Republican, I would switch parties for the Senate Den primary just to vote for her.
We’ll, she DOES have nice breasts. Rest of her is in nice physical condition too.
Who the hell are these people??...They are from out of town.
I’m starting to like Tulse. Pity to set Trump loose on her.
If Gabbard wasn’t a hard-line Dem from HI and was instead a solid Pubbie, I would support her. Other than her Dem viewpoints, she seems pretty rational and spunky.
Tulsi is EVIL, unlike Sarah Palin.
It’s more support of her courage in taking on Democratic machine politics, and a touch of sympathy watching them do to her what they do to Republicans constantly, than any support for her politics per se.
> but there will be times when U.S. military will be needed
Are you old enough to remember a time when that actually happened?
