July 31, 2019 (LifeSiteNews) – A little over one week ago, Apple approved LifeSiteNews’ application to publish our news on their Apple News platform.
Today, without warning, Apple News abruptly reversed course, telling LifeSite that they had deleted our channel and all of our content from their platform.
Apple claimed that LifeSite’s channel “didn't comply with our Apple News guidelines.” Specifically, they stated that LifeSite’s “[c]hannel content shows intolerance towards a specific group.”
Apple’s e-mail provided no details about which content they deemed offensive, or which “specific group” LifeSite’s content allegedly showed intolerance towards.
LifeSite has reached out to Apple News for further details about their decision, which we intend to appeal.
Apple News is an app that is available on all Apple devices. It aggregates news content from thousands of publishers. Apple users can “follow” their favorite news sites and receive customized updates.
Conservatives have expressed alarm in recent years that a small number of large tech giants, often located in predominantly left-wing jurisdictions, are acting as gatekeepers to an increasing amount of the world’s information.

Actually, I speak of what I know. I’ve conversed with the LifeSite folks on twitter. They are fully supportive of the GOP show votes on defunding PP. It’s a fact that the GOP Congress has fully funded PP for decades. LifeSite are as GOPe as National Review, unfortunately. Rather than pressure the GOP to give us substantive results when the controlled the GOP controlled the House they simply played the beltway kabuki blame the Democrats dance like any other GOPe interest group.

why would anyone get their news from apple news? They are apple- they are intolerant!
Republicans' and conservatives' challenge is to instill that belief.

Can you be more specific on this? I was/am unaware. If someone votes pro-life, why wouldn’t they support them? A GOPe pro-life vote is better than a dem pro-death vote don’t you think?
I’ve used Apple computers since 1985. Too old to switch.
In looking at their site, I would not be surprised if this wasn’t the offending incident...

Well, that’s easy.
To the contrary. I’m results oriented. It’s the GOP always fully funding PP and other Dem pet projects like NPR. Why does the GOP never fight as hard for the babies as the Dems do to kill them?
I’m not interested in beltway failure theater from the GOP. Soviet style show votes from the GOP when they know the bill won’t pass. I want PP defunded and the babies saved. That is all. Thank you.
