Winning!
Next story SHOULD be the MASS Firings of the Marketing folks and those who hired them. These areas in most companies are absolutely infested with liberal leftists. Time for a corporate America to start cleaning house of these progressives costing their company millions, if not billions of dollars.
[[[Its right up there with Dicks sporting goods decision to stop selling those mean black guns, then - as if that werent enough - to proclaim that they were going to destroy all of the mean black guns in their inventory.]]]
True. Dicks aspires to be an exercise equipment and apparel dealer for beta males. They have the perfect name for it.
Rules of Marketing:
A very satisfied customer will tell 14 people, a dissatisfied customer will tell 80.
The problem is that the people who staff corporate marketing departments have never learned the Rules of Marketing.
They are generally female Millenial social media addicts who earned their degrees from one of America’s finest liberal brainwashing universities. They are steeped in SJW and are able to convince their bosses that five negative tweets from activists pose an imminent threat to the future of the company.
My husband switched to some other brand. I don’t use razors.
I didn't wait. I threw away all of my households Gillette products on the spot.
I switched to Harrys razors after that.
I also dropped them and went with Harrys! Never going back!!
Thats a slow pitch I am not going to swing at. Just...not...gonna...😝
Tried Schick, tried Harry’s. Settled on Bic.

You made a mistake. Harry’s was FIRST on the “toxic masculinity” bandwagon. When I found out last year, I wrote to them. They replied with SJW nonsense that would make Gillette cringe.
“I switched to Harrys razors after that.”
As did I.
And I’ve made sure that all I know are aware of how far Gillette has descended.
Agreed. Harry’s is good stuff. I hope they don’t take a political stance on anything.
? Modern technology is better.
I’ve been wondering if we would ever see the impact of that ad. Immediately after, they were quick to announce that there was ‘no dropoff’ in sales. Buried in a huge company like P&G, it was hard to verify.
But I know this: I’m 60 years old. I’ve been using Gillette razors, exclusively, since I was 15. Been buying their Mach 3 brand for as long as I can remember.
After seeing that stupid ad, I threw them ALL in the garbage and bought a Schick 5 blade razor. Took a few days to get used to it... but, now I love it. I can use one blade for a month. The old Mach 3 blades were only good about a week.
I’m not much the type for boycotts...but, that ad was just more than I could take. I was pretty convinced it would hurt them. Apparently, it was a little worse than they let on.

You (and everyone else using Harry’s) might want to read Post #52.
I signed up with Dollar Shave Club a few years ago before Gillette started all their nonsense.
I did so because Gillette products were so freakin EXPENSIVE!
DSC sends high quality (as good or better than Gillette) blades once a month. They last a long time, and I have a pile of yet-to-be-used blades.
I switched to a shaving brush and soap; really like it.
No more Gillette for me.
Ever
Wish I could join the boycott, but I switched to single edge razors (English and German made, 100+ years old). Never have to buy refills, just sharpen and hone them.
