Then why has he been looking at papers on the desk and reviewing them but suddenly can’t read them out loud?
Isn’t it uncanny how many times the Republican runs out of time just as they’re making a great point and have Mueller on the ropes? /s
Lesko and Buck should’ve been better prepared.
Buck has given the Libs the exact soundbite they wanted today, getting Mueller to answer “Yes” when asked by Buck if he could indict Pres. Trump for obstruction after he leaves office.
On Twitter, the liberals are using these 30 seconds as a salve for this 2-hour burn they are otherwise suffering.
Is the report in cursive?
Can he read that?
Tom McClintock and Debbie Lesko also hammered Mueller.
Thanks for posting these videos. For those who do not have time to listen to the entire hearing, these videos are valuable.
I saw that too, cut her off and refused to let him answer the question. Didn’t he let him answer a question a democrat asked as time ran out?
Not that I expected Nadler to be even remotely fair...
He’s just ceremoniously flipping through the pages... for show.
what about comment #793?
Just viewed the Ratcliffe video. He was outstanding.
The Congresslady should have shown the statement to Mueller so that he could disavow it. He asked to see it or said he could not comment on it without seeing it. She could have sprung the trap, but she fizzled it.
Fail every way you look at it.
Your post is correct on all points.
I originally came to this thread to say I was disappointed by Buck. Wasted most of his time reading subsections of code.
This Ms. Jayapal is suggesting that because Trump didn’t want Manafort to “flip” that means it was obstruction.
“If it’s in the report, I support it.”
IOW, he hasn’t a clue.
Impeach! Bring it up for a vote if your so sure. sheesh
reply to all. IF you are going on national television PLEASE go to your hair dresser and touch up your roots and jump in the tanning bed for a few minutes... looks like a bunch of corpses and I don’t mean military
A sly little smirk from Mueller as she mentioned Fox News was hardly cited compared to NY Times and WaPost.
Says everything right there.
Just a process question... every questioner gets an alloted time to ask their questions. While the witness is answering, the timeclock stops right? (That way a witness can’t run out the clock by just babbling)
That might explain why Mueller is refusing to read the text, and insists that the questioner read it... that way the time clock gets used up reading something outloud instead of on other questions.
Just a thought.
Did she just call him George?
All the Dems are harping on Obstruction, completely ignoring Russia.
THEY ARE TRYING TO JUSTIFY A NEW SPECIAL PROSECUTIR, folks.
My take is different. Didn’t see Buck, but Lesko kept hammering him with questions which I think were asked to get information out to people who haven’t heard any of the truth before. I think she did well.
