Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) called for the FBI to launch a criminal investigation into the extremist Antifa movement, which is responsible for numerous acts of violence and vandalism in the United States.

FBI Director Christopher Wray indicated that the Bureau will not investigate Antifa because they view Antifa as “more of an ideology than an organization.”

What precisely do you expect him to do? I’d truly like to know what constitutional authority he is granted beyond bringing awareness to an investigative, enforcement arm? Like those that trash Gowdy it’s almost as if either people don’t know truly the powers granted to Congress under the Constitution or have this recurring fantasy that Congress is all arms of every branch and should rightly begin executions immediately. Last time I checked the FBI falls under the office of the Executive branch of Government and are the investigative arm of Federal crime.

The RICO Act has been floating around my head for some time concerning antifa.
Especially because it operates in several states and is very well organized.
We need a mole/whistle-blower to pop out of the internal workings of the org.
Cruz should submit a criminal referral directly to Bill Barr. A RICO investigation, by definition, is a criminal investigation which should be led by DOJ prosecutor or a U.S. Attorney.
Time to demand Wray’s resignation. His arrogant answer about Antifa really exposes his sympathies for this dangerous organization. (Not to mention his part in the Witch Hunt and arrogance in testimony to Congress on that subject.)
