A photo has emerged that appears to show Ilhan Omar with both her first and second husbands, after Donald Trump hinted she married her brother.
Trump caused uproar yesterday when he repeated an accusation that the Democrat Congresswoman's second marriage was to her sibling.
The controversial photo first appeared on a Somali forum in 2016 that made the claim that she was in a fraternal marriage. It was taken in London according to the Instagram caption.
The post says: 'He (Omar's second husband) arrived in the United States in 2008. As soon as Ilhan Omar married him he started university at her alma mater North Dakota State University where he graduated in 2012.

Easy explanation, she only married her brother 1st because Husband #2 was married to a goat at the time and she was waiting that out...

The article on this thread: http://freerepublic.com/focus/f-bloggers/3764937/posts, makes a very strong case that Ilhan herself gained citizenship fraudulently.
The gist is that she is not actually a member of the Omar family (the ones who got refugee status). She was born in the Esmi family. The Omars allowed (committed fraud) for three members of the Esmi family (Ilhan, her father, and one of her sisters) to pose as members of the Omar family, to get US citizenship as well.
Ilhan later committed multiple frauds, to get her brother (one of the other three members of her biological nuclear Esmi family, who had received UK citizenship), to get US citizenship.
This type of fraud was rampant among Somali immigrants at the time. 87% of those Somalis then claiming familial relation as their basis for application, who were then genetically tested, were shown to be frauds. From 2008-2012, that basis for application was suspended for Somalis, because of the overwhelming fraud.
Right. And he said he did not know if she was married to her brother or not.

Just judging by the pictures and the notes in the article, I get the feeling husband number 2 is a homo, or at least bi sexuel and was a marriage of convenience to get him into the United States.

No wonder they are opposed to immigration reform, it's complicated to have to marry your sibling to unlawfully gain access to our great country.
Isn’t there a prohibition against allowing marriage between persons directly blood related ?
