There’s a viral video making its way around Twitter this weekend that shows NFL star QB Can Newtown offering a man $1500 for his seat that has more legroom with the unidentified man turning down the generous offer. Have a watch:

Was the guy he originally offered the Money to by himself or was he sitting next to Family or Friends?

Stuff like this makes me hate certain people when I never before nor cared one iota. I do believe this is actually the goal of the left because dividing is power.
I think I’d take a check from Cam Newton. It’s not like he’s some person I couldn’t track down.
ANd of course I’d take the money. On the other hand, I’m short, so I don’t need legroom. And anyway, I’d stand up for a 5-hour flight if they gave me 500 bucks.
Maybe if Cam had hidden his head under a towel the guy would have recognized him?
Knew a very Wealthy guy many years ago. He was worth tens of Millions of Dollars.
He never flew First Class. He always booked an Aisle or Window Seat in the first Economy Bulkhead row behind First Class.
He could never understand why anyone would pay so much for a First Class Seat just to be a little more comfortable for just five hours.
He was very thrifty and he understood the value of a dollar.
That’s because when “Coming To America” came out, the USA’s collective IQ was many points higher than now. Ronald Reagan was president. Iran and Iraq were at war and, if the Useless United Nations hadn’t stepped in, they may have been able to decimate each other to the eternal benefit of the rest of the world.
If the recipient knew that check wouldn’t bounce and had no other reason to refuse it, I can’t conceive of why even a racist nowadays would refuse it solely because the guy cutting the check was black. We’re not in the old south anymore.
I know this hurts some people’s feelings, but everything isn’t about skin color. Perhaps the guy just didn’t want to sell his seat and wanted to enjoy the extra legroom himself. I really doubt he was thinking hell naw i ain’t lettin that colored boy have muh seat fo any price, just cause he’s colored. The racists are the ones who assume you actually care about their color.
Everything also isn't about money, and not everything is for sale.
With the kind of money Newton makes he could taken a private plane.
Cam obviously could afford a first class seat. He must have purchased in the last minute and first was full. That said, I am surprised the airline didn’t downgrade for someone (who was getting a cheap upgrade) for a good amount of money. This is usually what happens.
That would certainly get him on the Panther PUP list.
Like Eddie Murphy talked about when he went to Texas, and everybody told him, “Oh man you better not go there, they’ll mess you up.....”

Wasn’t that bad at all.
I have not paid for first class on overseas flights but often pay miles and $500 for an upgrade if they are available. Many executives that go on long flights have first class as part of their compensation package. Many people fly to China almost monthly. Hard to find good people willing to take on such a task. Also you can be fairly well rested and hit the ground running upon arrival.
