I think I’d take a check from Cam Newton. It’s not like he’s some person I couldn’t track down.
ANd of course I’d take the money. On the other hand, I’m short, so I don’t need legroom. And anyway, I’d stand up for a 5-hour flight if they gave me 500 bucks.
i would have taken that money and stood at the bathroom for 1,500. guess he didn’t need it like i do.

All too often right and famous never pay their bill.
Why didn’t he have the cabin crew make an announcement that $1,500 is waiting for the first person to give up his seat. . .most airlines only offer a couple hundred or a voucher of some sort.
