Oregons top lawmakers will shut down the state capitol after receiving threats from militia groups, who authorities say are planning to demonstrate there in support of the 11 Republican senators who fled the state to dodge a vote on climate change.

“And since when did Oregon become such a police state.”
NDSAP tactics. Benevolently dictatorial until challenged, then the fangs and talons come out. Marxists and the NDSAP had more in common then would like to have beleived.
“Does this militia have a name?”
You don’t need a name. Just look at some Soyboi and say ‘militia’ and the blood will drain from his face.
Threepers,,,
Interesting piece.
The modern Press will always lie for the Left when the Left is on the verge of one party rule.
The only group I’m aware of that was going to Salem, is Timberunity, none of which are militia. They were made aware of this article, and think it is more “fake news” to make the good guys look like bad guys.
Last time “militia” was termed in Oregon, look what happened. Kate Brown had the Bundy’s and LeVoy ambushed and LeVoy shot and killed.
Timberunity has been very peaceful with no plans of violence. They just want to be heard, and be the voices for all the rest of Oregon, which is mainly a red state. Many members of timberunity are also democrats, as they are negatively affected by this cap and trade bill also.
CWII may well start right here in Oregon if Kate Brown keeps this up. Who’d a thunk it.....
A true of, by and for the people action scares the tofu out out lefties.
They can NOT allow an inch of it. No!
How Hitleresque.
Considering the police state of Oregon is trying to send the state police to round up the wayward senators, I question the use of the terms *threat* and *militia*.
IMO, it's just rhetoric to paint them in an unfavorable light so sway public opinion.
The left HATES free people and militias with a passion and will try to do anything they can to shut them down and discredit them.
Portland is virtually the home of Antifa and the worst of their nonsense.
And I don’t see the state ever calling THEM a *threat* or *militia* or threatening to sic the state police on them.
This is a bunch of crap
Kumbaya is the losing proposition.
Chaos produces change.

They create the anarchy but distance themselves from it, and then step in to promise to restore order like the heroes.
People are so hungry for peace and security and food and safety, that they go along with it, and then the group using the mob tactics is in power like they wanted from the start.
I think this is what Antifa is doing.
Antifa beating people up in the streets of Portland and blocking traffic?
Demonstration.
Right organized protest?
Threat to lawmakers.
Well, been here one day and already posting. Off to a flying start.
Good page to follow to learn how a huge amount of us Oregonians feel about what is happening to our state. These are the hard working blue collar workers that built this state. Kate Brown needs to look up next time she goes to the Capital building, and think about that gold logger statue that adorns the top, and what it represents.

Fleeing legislators has been done before. At least Oklahoma and Texas as I recall. The stalemate is always broken and the party in power are always the winners.
Legislative action in conditions such as this ultimately fail. There is only one way to make things right: Athens, Tennessee. This kind of action is all that will get the attention of politicians and reign them in for just a little bit. The only real way to reign them from their flight of fancy to drunken power is to castrate them.
