A black parolee arrested for raping and bashing a white woman on the roof of his Bronx apartment building allegedly told a witness that she “deserved” the brutal attack because of slavery, according to court papers.
“She was a white girl. She deserved it because us minorities have been through slavery,” Temar Bishop, 23, allegedly said to someone who witnessed the bloodied 20-year-old woman after the assaults, according to a criminal complaint.
“This is what they used to do to us. This is what they did to us during slavery. They used to beat us and whip us.”
Temar Bishop, 23, was arrested by authorities on Friday in Virginia on a slew of charges connected to the early morning June 1 assault, which officials have deemed a hate crime, according to authorities.

One of my friends is a black man whose grandfather was a slave.
His grandfather was an infant at the time of emancipation; and he was the youngest child of the youngest child.
My generations line up differntly—two Great Great Grandfathers in the G.A.R. and one Great Great Uncle who died in a Confederate POW camp.
“The victim met parolee Temar Bishop, 23, with other friends and ended up hanging out with him on a rooftop on Alexander Avenue in Mott Haven, sources said.
Bishop allegedly punched her in the face numerous times and then raped her, police said.
After the sexual assault, he allegedly punched and kicked her in the head and body until she passed out, police said.
She suffered a fractured nose and lacerations to her face and body and was treated at a hospital.

Per the story, she met him at 5 am and went up on the roof with him. Probably a nice, clueless, conditioned snowflake.

Sure, slavery is wrong - but if you have a problem with it, go after the Muslim countries that currently allow slavery. And since Mohammad had slaves, 'Shariah' law allows slavery. Christian countries were the ones who confronted the fact that this practice was evil, and worked to eliminate it. Some areas were slower that others - but they all banned it. Saudi Arabia allowed public slave trading until the mid-1960s (and it is believed that they still allow secret/private slave trading).
What the schools and Media should teach:
Islam took slaves (from Africa and Europe) from their inception (around 650 AD to present).
The actual slaves taken in Africa were captured by fellow African tribesmen (looking to make a buck by selling their neighbors to the highest bidder).
Slaves taken towards Islamic countries typically had a 90% mortality rate. The Islamic slave traders didn't care if their property died - they made it up in volume. Also, to ensure that the Africans didn't make up a large portion of the slaver society - the men were castrated, and the babies born to the concubines were killed.
Of the slaves shipped across the Atlantic (which I believe had an approximate 10% mortality rate. High, but not approaching the death rate of those taken to Islamic countries), approximately 5% went to North America. Most went to South America, and the Caribbean.
And, although slavery existed in the Islamic countries from approximately 650 AD, Western Europe had banned slavery when the Roman Empire turned semi-Christian around 320 AD. Unfortunately, when the Spaniards finally kicked out the Moors from the Iberian peninsula in 1492, they decided a 'tit for tat' slavery would be fair, and started taking Africans (since the Moors were from Africa) as slaves. And then, double unfortunately, the rest of Europe decided it was 'ok' also (around the 1600s). Fortunately this was temporary. England banished the nasty trading in the the early 1800s. And the United States did not allow importing slaves around the same time frame (probably because the British Navy shutdown the trade) - the practice was not banished until the Civil War in the mid 1800s. 150 years ago.
The thug in question has obviously had his mind poisoned by the Media and Schools that don't provide the historical background. If they did, this thug would not be able to use lame excuses for his crimes. If anything, he should thank the 'Whitey's' ancestors for having worked to ban slavery. And if he was consistent, he'd go after Islam, or the African tribes that captured and sold his ancestors.

I worked in a butcher shop when I was in high school—early 60s. One of our customers was an old black woman. After she left, my boss told me that her mother had been born a slave. But your friend whose grandfather was a slave (as an infant) isn’t probably in his 20s like the perp in question.
As an aside, two of President John Tyler’s (born 1790) grandsons are still alive.
