President Trump said he's been briefed by Navy pilots regarding sightings of unidentified flying objects, but remained skeptical of the existence of UFOs.
George Stephanopoulos of ABC News raised the issue during an interview with Trump released Saturday.
"I was struck in the last few couple of weeks, we're reading more and more reports of Navy pilots seeing lots and lots of UFOs," Stephanopoulos said to a smiling Trump. "Have you been briefed on that? What do you make of it?"
"I want them to think whatever they think," Trump replied, referring to the Navy pilots. "I did have one very brief meeting on it. But people are saying they’re seeing UFOs. Do I believe it? Not particularly."

The existence of UFOs is not really in question. What those might be is the question.

Trump was having fun with this question:
Stephonopoulous asks, “Do you think you’d know if there were evidence of extraterrestrials?”
Trump answers, “Well, I think my great, our great pilots would know. And some of them really see things that are a little bit different than in the past. So, we’re gonna see. But we’ll watch it. You’ll be the first to know.” Then he smiles with amusement.
It was a trick question, like have you stopped beating your wife.
And Trump wiggled out of it gracefully.

Exactly. I’ve seen them several times, but then, I’m a sky watcher. They are real in the sense that they are viewable. Can’t say they are aliens. Advanced secret tech? Probably.

Every newly elected President must be briefed on ALL matters that may affect national security. I think we’re seeing Trump’s stance with the official government admission of UFO existence. Several reports mention Eisenhower and at least one mentions Truman. That must be quite something to sleep on every night.

I don’t think Trump can just hide in a broom closet tweeting.
He knows where the Media stands, and he knows he has to be seen and heard.
He’s made some great points with this Snuffelupegas interview, and on “normal” television, that a lot of Americans still watch.
They are optical phantoms caused by atypical lighting conditions within the tracking camera lens.
I’ve seen them but I’m not going to tell anyone.
