Did you have a nice relaxing day after the crazy week at work you just went through?

It was a gorgeous day here but that’s about to end. Rain chances every day for the next week.

I got the best Father's Day present today from my youngest son. I got to hug him and kiss him on the head there in the rehab facility. He's a deputy sheriff and on Tuesday the 4th, he was shot 3 times responding to a call about neighbors arguing over the feeding of feral cats.

I don't know how to adequately thank my Father for preserving the life of my son. I'm just manifestly grateful that He did. He served 2 tours in Iraq and I prayed Psalm 91 over him then. Apparently when God answers a prayer, it's completely answered.

Oh, by the way, the perp is no longer a problem for anybody.

Some rain would be nice but if it’s like it will be here the next week, it’ll just cool off for a few minutes, then turn into a sauna.

It was a very good day at the museum. Started off slow but I was able to do a little munch-needed cleaning. The afternoon was pretty much non-stop folks coming through.

Pretty warm but not all that bad. Going to be warmer the next week and muggy as all get-out. Summertime!

Yeah...the “good ol’ summertime”....highly overrated if you ask me. LOL! I’ll take our 8% over your sauna though. Even though my skin feels like crepe paper.

Whew! The thought of 8% humidity makes my skin hurt. On rare occasions ours has dropped into the upper teens and that was too dry.

It is kinda dry but it did make our 101 degrees feel like 95, so I guess there is a trade off. LOL! Not much, though.

Is it nearly time for fall yet?

Cooler temps would be nice but I’m not ready for fall just yet. Fall means winter is close and this last one just ended a few weeks ago. LOL

Slowly but surely...there should be no rush in your rehab. Glad the VA is helping you.

I wish all we had was spring and fall. But, I guess we have summer and winter so we’ll appreciate the other two. LOL!

Summer’s not all that bad, though it can get a little tough to endure in late-July/early August.
I could do without winter. Can’t stand to be cold.

We're OK. We had a line of storms move through with some thunder winds and rain and that was about it. They did have some wind damage South and West of Wichita Falls TX. Also some flooding around the OKC area.
