The Office of Special Counsel on Thursday recommended the removal of White House counselor Kellyanne Conway from federal office for violating the Hatch Act, which bars federal employees from engaging in political activity in the course of their work.
The report submitted to President Trump found that Conway violated the Hatch Act on numerous occasions by disparaging Democratic presidential candidates while speaking in her official capacity during television interviews and on social media.

I hope it will backfire on them.

Federal watchdog agency recommends removal of Kellyanne Conway from federal office for violating the Hatch Act
It’s getting close to the time to roast the smiley “death to America” poster boy, BHO
The Hatch Act was hatched in 1939 and when Trump becomes President this is the first time the office has recommended the removal of a White House official. Funny how that works.
Yeah.. that sounds reasonable
> I hope it will backfire on them.
I have every confidence that it will backfire on them BIGLY.
There’s the $17 million in payoffs for sexual harassment in the Congress.
I’m pretty certain that more than a few of the current members’ names are among the beneficiaries.
.
In their opinion.
Counting down to Trump’s twitter response.
President Trump, we really need some arrests soon.
Name one person within the Obama occupation of the White House that didn’t talk politically in public.
Has these people seen Adam Schiff on TV about a million times in the last two years, at all????
What exactly is the Office for Special Counsel and who is in charge of it? I looked around and didnt recognize any names. Is this a leftover from Mueller?
I’m being dumb, I guess, Shif for brains is an elected representative, and the hatch act is for employees, but I still agree with everyone’s sentiment so far. This is all about a war on Trump and nothing else. There are soooo many fronts
So because she disparaged some Dems while working as council, that means she can be removed?
What about Trumps tweets disparaging Pelosi et al, while hes been President and acting as president at press conferences? Why not just remove him for violating the Hatch Act, forget this nonsense about impeachment!
Does everyones 1st Amendment right just go out the window if they become a Federal employee?
I tend to think the Hatch act is meant to prevent a federal employee from *using the resources of his office to help or hinder a candidate or political party*, not that they loose their right to speak their opinion freely even when on the job!
In other words, Kelly Anne cant use her GFE to spy on the Democrats, or use it to do oppo research on them, or things like that meant to hinder them or a particular person. (Oops, the Dems already did that to the Trump campaign! No one cares about that though anyway...)
She, nor anyone isnt prevented from speaking her mind even while on the job!!
Heck, remove Adam Shifty for the same violations then at least be fair!
Sounds like more partisan BS and lawfare to me. Who’s next, the Press Secretary? The President? Thanks Innovative.

I’d rather have a molar removed....
I assert that Kellyanne Conway is EXEMPT from the Hatch Act as she serves in the Office of the President and was appointed by the President.
Further, under the Hatch Act, even carer employees are permitted to express opinions about candidates and issues.
A little-known clause in the Hatch Act is that it applies to Trump supporters only.
I propose Conway receive the same punishment as Julian Castro when he was accused by the OSC!
This Special Counsel is John McCain’s hatchet man, and someone who should be facing criminal charges for his role in the Lois Lerner affair.
