Chairman Jerry Nadler has to put on a show of pursuing President Trump because the party’s left wing demands it. But Speaker Nancy Pelosi won’t let Nadler go to impeachment hearings because she knows the broader public will see it as a partisan outrage.
Pelosi’s bid to appease the extremists runs to quotes about how she wants to see Trump “in prison.” Nadler, meanwhile, must resort to, yes, props.

Republicans missed the opportunity to point out the real similarity between Watergate and Russiagate: A sitting President attempted to spy on the other party. Except Nixon had no idea several small time crooks broke into the DNC, and wiretapped. Obama used the Intelligence agencies to actually spy on Trump!
Why didn’t they ask Dean how he felt about spying on the opposition candidate? After all, he WAS an expert on that topic.
Democrats still proving how incompetent they are only thing they know how to do is whine increase taxes they hove zero governing skills.
As for the media they have joined the title one team too.

The same liberals — Rachel Maddow and company — who wept and wailed when the Mueller Report came out declaring Trump committed no impeachable offenses, must be shedding a few more tears today after watching Jerrold Nadler’s highly touted John Dean circus make an embarrassing flop.
The only winners were the Republicans, particularly Matt Gaetz, whose few well-chosen questions exposed John Dean as an anti-Republican driven by fifty years of post-Watergate anger.
Imagine what an actual impeachment process would look like, where the barely competent Democrats on the Judiciary Committee would be facing accomplished legal minds like Matt Gaetz’s on the Republican side day after day.
If that’s what the Democrats want, okay, bring it on.
Only 1 person would/could have made this circus legit and they didn’t call him up!-)
Bringing in Dean was really stupid. Who the hell was advising Nadler?
Hypothetical question: if Obama’s fraud had been proven beyond doubt, and his ineligibility legally established, would he have been impeached, convicted and removed from office?

I seriously doubt whether the public is even aware of who John Dean is. He was news over 40 years ago. Or that he appeared in Nadler's hearing.
The general public doesn't pay attention to this stuff and most don't care.

The Dem controlled House obviously can only pass any law by dealing with the GOP controlled Senate and the current POTUS. They don’t want to, so they destroy everything and call it ‘progress’.
They deliberately sabotaged the $2T infrastructure plan (which frankly I am glad its gone), and they blew the border negotiations so badly - Trump is building the borders without them and they got nothing on DACA or the other programs even though Trump offered them more than they had asked in exchange for funding.
As is typical of the media, they cover for the Dems and make it about Trump. Pelosi could have had some wins in her pocket if she negotiated. They did the same with Clinton, saying she was the most qualified candidate ever even though she was corrupt as heck, was fooled at least twice by Putin, was part of the ‘regime change’ warmongering that ended with Syria inviting 50,000 Russian troops into the ME and access for the first time in 40 years to warm water ports for their navy and so much more, Benghazi (and now, emails released indicating an attempt to get hands on $30 billion in Libyan wealth).
Media is just of a single mind, and it isn’t about the good of the country.
What will No-Nadsler do next?
A grizzly bear riding a tiny bicycle?
Siamese elephants joined at the trunk?
An organ grinder monkey performing magic whilst dancing the merengue?
