NEW YORK - Every hour that one of The Advance Groups trucks is stuck in highway or bridge traffic, it costs the moving company around $200. And with 40 trucks trying to get into Manhattan daily and contending with the New York metro areas deteriorating infrastructure, the price of lost time runs up quickly.
Getting to and from a job site is not really billable to a client, says Anthony Parziale, president of The Advance Group, based in the suburb of Farmingdale.

Yeah I haven’t worked in Manhattan in 10 years and though I loved the city for many years, it has gone insanely left and I am fine living AND working on Staten Island.
Though I AM poking around PA.
Maybe if you New Yorkers spent less on welfare bread and circuses you’d have more money for roads and infrastructure.
You tax the Hell out of your citizens, and still don’t have enough. I don’t think getting more money is the issue, the issue is how you already spend it.
PING!
That is always the case in any locale. The peasants are taxed to death with promises of curing all the ills and it is never enough with promises never kept. Thou shall not lie.
Oh heck yes it is...

Finish poking and get moved to PA before the 2020 election. Well need all the toss up state votes we can get for Trumps re-election.
Let evert state do there infrastructure...why he hell should I pay for roads in NYS..I left the hell hole in 1980....
I have driven in every state in the lower forty eight..
Red states have the best roads for the most part
Route one in Maine was the worst ever..
The moment any tax passes, usually for a feel good reason, the welfare deep State Govt worker royalty bums,
suck the tax dry for their recreational toys.
Either become a parasite yourself,
OR leave, move.
Deport every illegal and visa overstayers and there will be a huge decrease in traffic.
The last time a plumber came to my house, they billed $134 transit fee. That's for getting from one site to another.
I traveled to Salamanca, NY recently. Salamanca is on Native American land. Though they have a casino, the roads are almost impassible. You can calculate the corruption on on hand...
Getting a plumber (non-union at that) to my house, five miles from the town center, will run me $75.
They call it a service call charge and the expensive fun starts after that.
Yes, I’ve been posting lots about the extremely poor condition of NYC roads, the lack of lane markings, and the burned out street lights. Add to that the DELIBERATE social engineering going on with eliminating left turn lanes, taking over right lanes on main thoroughfares for “buses only” (which creates lots of congestion in the remaining lanes), “congestion pricing” for Manhattan, a huge increase in tolls and you can see the commie hand in this-—they are trying to make driving as uncomfortable, inconvenient, and expensive as possible so that we’ll all ditch our cars and use DumblASSio’s stupid bike lanes. That’s the only way he will be able to get more than 3 people a day to use them.
Screw NYC
I MEAN IT
get the hell
Out
Never ever go back
Its one of the upper levels of hell
Esp under de blah blah
I’m not quite sure how they would put new roads into Manhattan. :-p
So he's willing to travel anywhere in the world and just bill his standard rates with no mileage fees? That's really cool of him. Most folks adjust billings based on costs.
