Maybe if you New Yorkers spent less on welfare bread and circuses you’d have more money for roads and infrastructure.
You tax the Hell out of your citizens, and still don’t have enough. I don’t think getting more money is the issue, the issue is how you already spend it.
That is always the case in any locale. The peasants are taxed to death with promises of curing all the ills and it is never enough with promises never kept. Thou shall not lie.
I’m not quite sure how they would put new roads into Manhattan. :-p
