Late last week, Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.) a candidate for the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination condemned pro-life efforts to protect unborn babies as "against Christian faith." Specifically, she slammed Georgia's law protecting unborn babies from the moment a heartbeat may be detected in the womb. Rather than addressing serious science and faith concerns about the humanity of the unborn and the Christian tradition of defending life, Gillibrand defended abortion by referencing free will.
"If you are a person of the Christian faith, one of the tenants of our faith is free will. One of the tenants of our democracy is that we have a separation of church and state, and under no circumstances are we supposed to be imposing our faith on other people. And I think this is an example of that effort," the 2020 candidate said.

There’s a reason they call her Silly Gilly
What do you mean?
I am someone trying to find my way, but as soon as I read this, this was the first thing that I thought of...
“Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!”
Using such thinking, it’s free will, than nothing would be sinful...
This has to be one of the most ignorant statements I’ve read in quite awhile.
She is really this stupid. Society would have been better off if her mother aborted her.
America was founded by (and largely for) people willing to bet everything on the belief that there’s no theological question so weighty or complex that it can’t be resolved by an ordinary believer flipping through the Bible. Nowadays even Catholics believe that. It was Fr. Ronnie Knox who said a century ago that America is the happy hunting ground of religious sectarianism.
Not any one I'm aware of.
Be to has tanked so the media is taking Gilibrand for a test drive.
I believe the Georgia law is here:
http://www.legis.ga.gov/Legislation/en-US/display/20192020/HB/481
I can’t verify it because my computer is apparently infected with a virus that doesn’t always me to load an address into the address bar.
Gillibrand is currently at 1.0% nationally, 0.7% in Iowa, and doesnt even register in NH. So she thinks she can get attention by making extreme statements in favor of abortion. At this point, Im not sure if she could live stream herself murdering a baby and get any traction in the polls.
My computer can’t get to the link I just posted.
Following her free will logic, then ANYTHING one wants to do has Gods blessing. Only from a libturd can such moronic logic stem!
What an idiot.
This happens a lot with the left.
I guess Mare Pete's mot the only candidate with a really crappy concept of Christian theology. I hope somebody waives this quote in her face the next time she tries to restrict second amendment rights or cheers on social media companies that censor conservatives.
A majority of Alabama legislators exercised their FREE WILL to vote on a law intended to save lives. They were elected by the voters to improve the lives of their citizens whether Christian or not. So, tell me again how this violates the Christian faith?
That about sums it up. Amazing how these people have no fear of God whatsoever. Then again the democrats booed Him three times at their convention. Eternal damnation is their party platform.
Gillibrabd’s god is a bloodthirsty god of sacrifice that demands millions of child sacrifices every year.
So Free Will gives you the right to kill?
They only baby killing I remember from the Bible was Herod killing a the < 2yo children in Bethlehem.
More prove that Democrats are sick hate filled little people who will say anything to get and hold power.
